Ryanair Flights

RyanAir is Ireland’s low-cost airline with headquarters in Dublin and main operational hubs at Dublin Airport and London Stansted Airport. Founded in 1984, RyanAir is considered to the largest European airline based on scheduled passengers as well as the busiest international airline based by passenger numbers. With a fleet size of over 360 aircraft of mostly Boeing 737-800 planes, the airline operates flights to 32 countries all over Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Most RyanAir flights operate from smaller or secondary airports found on the outskirts of major cities to keep costs low. However, it still does operate some flights from a few selected major airports such as Barcelona El Prat, Edinburgh, London-Gatwick, Manchester and Rome-Fiumicino airports.

Why Fly with RyanAir

Ways To Check-In

RyanAir offers its passengers a quick and easy way to check-in online for flights. Online check-in is free and available from 4 days up to up to 2 hours before flight departure. It is also available from 30 days for those passengers who purchased an allocated seat. Simply visit RyanAir’s official website to check-in. Be sure to keep your email or credit card details handy as it will be needed to retrieve your booking. After submitting your travel document information and seat selections, you can immediately download or print your boarding card.

Those with checked baggage would need to ensure to arrive at the airport early. Bag Drop desks are open two hours up to 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Passengers would need to purchase checked baggage allowance from the airlines during the initial booking process. Each passenger can purchase up to three checked bags of 15 or 20 kilos each. If you missed purchasing baggage allowance, simply log in to your booking to purchase up to 2 hours before departure time. Is it best to purchase these beforehand because higher baggage fees may apply when purchased at the airport counter or through the RyanAir call center.

Seating

RyanAir flights randomly assign seats. However, passengers have an option to purchase a pre-selected seat during the booking process or online check-in. All seats will be available for selection. Standard seats which are from rows 6 to 15 and rows 18 to 33 are charged £/€8 per flight. Priority seats from rows 2 (A, B & C) to 5 are charged £/€13 while Priority with Extra Legroom Seats which are from rows 1, 2 (D, E & F) and 16 to 17 are charged £/€15 per flight.
