What to expect when hiring a car from Hong Kong
As a small county and city, Hong Kong driving can be quite challenging. Going around by car is not the easiest thing to do even though the roads are mostly, if not all, well-maintained. The problem with Hong Kong is even though it has good roads, its roads can be quite small, ending up with heavy traffic and congestion tourists can do without. Very few people will need to rent a car in Hong Kong, but if needed, the service is available. Please be advised that when driving within Hong Kong, traffic is on the left-hand side, with most of the vehicles offered in manual gears. Also, parking is quite limited within the area, because of this, parking space is very expensive. The hotels around the city rarely offer parking spaces with very few private parking lots accessible.
