Ways to Check-in

Delta offers its passengers numerous ways to check-in for their convenience. Online check-in is available from 24 hours of flight departure. Passengers can print their own boarding pass at home. At some airports, passengers can opt to go paperless by using an eBoarding Pass that is delivered straight to your mobile device. Using the airline’s Fly Delta app makes it even easier to check in for flights. Simply access the app when it is time to check-in and your eBoarding Pass will be stored on your mobile device. Passengers can choose to check in using the airport kiosks, anytime from 24 hours before flight departure. Airport curbside check-in is also available at selected airports where passengers can check-in for flights and drop checked baggage – just pull up at the airport curb and the rest is easy.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Passengers on Delta flights are allowed to carry one bag and one personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag, at no extra charge on all flights. Make sure that your cabin baggage is sized to fit the overhead compartments or under the seat in front of you. Each bag should not exceed a maximum of 114 centimeters of combined length, height, and width. Free checked baggage allowance will vary depending on your travel class and flight route. Be sure to check Delta's official website for the latest information on baggage allowance and fees. Each checked bag should not exceed 23 kilograms in weight and 157 centimeters in combined length, width, and height.

Seating

On Delta flights, Business Class passengers can enjoy reclining seats with 60” of legroom. Economy Comfort seats are available to purchase during the seat selection option when you purchase your flight. Economy Comfort seats are located in the first few rows on the cabin and offer up to 4 additional inches of legroom. Preferred seating is also available to purchase for passengers who prefer to sit along the aisle, at a window seat, at emergency exit rows, or towards the front of the cabin.

In-flight Services

Food and drinks are available on every Delta flight. Passengers can choose from a selection of soft drinks, juices, tea and freshly brewed Starbucks coffee. Snacks include peanuts, pretzels and Biscoff cookies. Passengers traveling on first, business and comfort plus can enjoy premium snacks such as chips, candies, and fresh fruit. Snacks are available for flights over 900 miles while Starbucks coffee, beer, wine, and spirits are available for flights over 250 miles.
