Trigana Air Cheap Flights & Promo Fares

Established to meet the transportation needs of Indonesia, Trigana Air Service started operations in 1991. It began as a forestry photo mapping service with two Beechcraft Super-King Air B-200C fixed-wing aircraft, as well as two new NBell-412SP helicopters. When this became successful, the administration acquired their own aircraft for passenger and cargo charter with various companies and Sempati Air, which formed the first scheduled domestic flights. Today, it flies passengers with a fleet consisting of 18 planes with models such as ATR-42, ATR-72, Boeing 737-200, Boeing 737-300F, and Twin Otter DHC-6.

The airline transports passengers between Ambon Airport, Balikpapan Airport, Banjarmasin Airport, Batam Airport, Berau Airport, Buli Airport, Jakarta Airport, Jayapura Airport, Katapang Airport, Natuna Airport, Nunukan Airport, Pangkalanbun Airport, Pontianak Airport, Putussibau Airport, Samarinda Airport, Sampit Airport, Semarang Airport, Sorong Airport, Surabaya Airport, Tual Airport, and Tarakan Airport.

Why Fly with Trigana Air Service

How to Check In

Travelers checking in their flight will have to take the traditional option which involves the usual method of going to the airport early and standing in line to register. The counter closes 45 minutes before the time of departure, which requires passengers to leave for the airport at least 1 ½ to 2 hours before closing. The online option is allowed only for booking tickets at this time.

Where We Fly (International and domestic departures)

The main bulk of the flights served by Trigana Air Service flies between the islands of Java, Kalimantan, and in the air space of the easternmost Papua region. The main hub of the airport is still Soekarno Hatta Airport based in Jakarta where the airline parks its planes. A part of the planes' route sticks to the perintis to transport travelers going between the main parts of the country to the remote areas.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Passengers carrying hand luggage are permitted only a regular-sized bag weighing 7 kilograms. Checked-in baggage requirements range between 10 to 20 kilograms. Any additional weight or a bigger size than the regular will need additional fees.

Booking Fees

Travelers can pay for their fees with cash or credit card. To be safe, one must have a major credit card such as MasterCard or Visa, as there is a lack of information about the credit card brands accepted by Trigana Air.

Inflight Services

Passengers can expect snacks to be provided midway through their flight. Entertainment amenities are rather limited, which makes it necessary to bring a book or some other light reading materials.
