Check In Guide

You may check-in for your JetBlue flight in many ways. Online check-in and mobile check-in is available. At the airport, you can also choose from curbside check-in, self-service kiosk check-in, or counter check-in. Online check-in opens from 24 hours up to 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time for US domestic flights and up to 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time for International flights. You will receive a mobile boarding pass on your mobile device or a printable boarding pass. Note that only passengers with an electronic ticket and without any special requirements can use online and mobile check-in. Curbside check-in is also available at most US airport locations from 30 minutes to 6 hours before the scheduled departure time. If you are checking-in at the airport kiosk or counter, do note that the minimum time to check-in for a JetBlue flight is 20-40 minutes before scheduled departure time for US domestic flights and 60 minutes before scheduled departure time for international flights.

Majority of JetBlue’s flights have one-class coach seating configuration. The comfortable, all leather Economy seats are 17.8” wide with a 34” pitch. Some seats referred to as "Even More Space," are sold as a seat upgrade. These are bulkhead seats and those near the exit rows which have more comfortable legroom at 38-39" seat pitch. "Mint" is another airline product offered by JetBlue on selected flights. This is a premium class offered on the Airbus A321 aircraft, with lie-flat seats and generous legroom.

Passengers on JetBlue are entitled to carry-on baggage allowance of one bag that must be able to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. Maximum dimensions may vary depending on aircraft. Items such as a collapsible baby stroller and one personal item such as a purse may also be carried free of charge. Checked baggage is subject to fees, depending on the flight route, fare class and the number of bags. The first bag is free on Blue Plus fares, while two bags are free on Blue Flex and Mint fares. Do check the airline's website for more details on baggage allowance.
