Helitt Líneas Aéreas was a Spanish charter aviation company that offered flights in Europe as well as North America and was headquartered in Málaga, a municipality in Spain; with its main base located at Málaga Airport. Founded in 2009, it began operations on November 2011 with its inaugural route flown from Málaga to Melilla. A week after that, the company started operating the Melilla – Barcelona route, on December 2 the Melilla – Madrid route, and on December 21 the Málaga – Madrid route. It is safe to say that during that time, the progress of Helitt Líneas Aéreas was phenomenal and on January 3, 2012, it launched the Barcelona – San Sebastian route, which was followed by the Madrid – San Sebastian Route on January 20, 2012. On March 25, 2012, it added routes to & from Badajoz: Badajoz – Madrid, Badajoz – Barcelona, and Badajoz – Málaga. Despite its success, Helitt Líneas Aéreas had to suspend operations on February 2013, due to internal economic and management turmoil. On October 2014, it filed for bankruptcy and eventually ceased operations.
