New York City

New York City (NYC), or more fondly known as the Big Apple is the most populous state in the US. Top attractions include Metropolitan Museum of Arts. One of the greatest art museums, it boasts an array of art collections, from Impressionist Art to Medieval galleries. For refuge from city life, head over to central park. Stroll along the scenic landscapes and picnic there. Visit Times Square, famed for its blinking advertorials and a shoppers’ paradise.  Iconic structures that don the cityscape include the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and Rockefeller Center. Lastly, make a trip to Ellis Island and marvel at the Statue of Liberty.

Orlando

Another must-visit city, especially if you are traveling with children, is Orlando. Home to theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando, this city is an ideal place for family time if you enjoy adventure, coaster rides and live performances!

Grand Canyon Village

Of course, US is not just about the bustling city life. There are many famous national parks, one of which being the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. Most people visit the South Rim, where the Grand Canyon Village is located at. It has accommodation, restaurants and a visitor centre. Hiking enables you to view different landscapes. Camp under the stars at night and admire this majestic canyon.

For short-haul flights, head to Montreal, Canada. Located 1 hour 20 minutes from NYC, Montreal has a strong French-influenced culture. Notre-Dame Basilica is the oldest Catholic Church in Montreal. Admire its impressive ornate architecture. Unwind at Montreal Botanical Gardens. The garden has different themes, ranging from Japanese to Chinese-styled gardens. There are also free concerts during summer. Be entertained by Cirque du Soleil, a Canadian entertainment company featuring dramatic circus acts and performances.

Bahamas

A trip to the Bahamas from NYC takes around 3 hours. Famed for its picturesque beaches and sparkling waters, Bahamas is the place to go to relax. Gold Rock Beach, Pink Sands Beach and Castaway Cay are just some of the popular beaches in the Bahamas. Visit National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, charting how Bahamian art has evolved over the years. 

London

If you wish to travel further, take a flight to London. Must-visit sites in London include the London Eye, Big Ben and London Bridge. Admire the sculpture of Nelson’s Column, surrounded by four majestic bronze lions at Trafalgar Square. For a gastronomic experience, head to Duck and Waffles, the highest restaurant in UK with a breathtaking view of the city. To find out the history of toys in England, drop by Pollock’s Toys Museum and Shop boasts a collection of toys from 19-20 century, from doll houses to board games.
