Aeropostal has ceased operations as of 24 September 2017

Aeropostal Alas de Venezuela, commonly called Aeropostal, was a state-owned airline of Venezuela, which was based in Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas. During the time of its operations, it operated both domestic as well as international services in the Caribbean. The company was characterized by its long history of reliable passenger, freight, and mail transportation. Plus, it made a name for itself in excellent planning as well as employee and money management. Throughout its tenure, it maintained high operational standards and complied with legal requirements, rules, and guidelines, among others. In September 24, 2017, because of its financial position, Aeropostal ceased operations after 88 years of service.
