Why Fly with Neos Air

How to Check In

Before checking in at the airport, passengers are required to have their valid identification documents with them, along with other documents that may be required by the Customs and Immigration authorities of their destination. The airport check-in desks open two hours prior to scheduled departure for short- and medium-haul flights, and close exactly 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Check-in desks for long-haul flights open three prior to scheduled departure and also close exactly 40 minutes before the flight. Boarding closes 30 minutes before the flight. Neos Air also provides its passengers the convenience of checking in online via the airline’s website. Web Check-in is free and is available from one week up to 24 hours before the scheduled time of departure.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

For each Neos Air passenger, the checked luggage allowance has a weight limit of 15kg for short- and medium-haul flights, 20kg for long-haul flights in Economy Class, and 30kg for long-haul flights in Neos Class. If baggage exceeds the allowed limit, extra charges will apply. Note that any checked baggage cannot exceed 32kg; otherwise the airline reserves the right to deny items exceeding said limit. For carry-on bags, only one piece of luggage per passenger is allowed to be brought in the cabin. The maximum weight allowed is 5kg with a total dimension not exceeding 115cm. Items exceeding the limits are considered checked baggage.

All Neos Air flights on Boeing 737 are all Economy class, while flights on Boeing 767 are in two classes: Economy and Business. Long-haul flights with Boeing 767 also have the Economy Extra, which can be purchased during check-in. The Economy Extra service includes a dedicated check-in desk and, where possible, a fast process at the security control. Seats purchased with Economy Extra feature a head rest and more leg room. These seats are located in the first row, in the emergency exits, and in the last rows.

Inflight Food

For flights taking up to three hours, early morning flights are served with breakfast, consisting of warm croissants and yoghurt, with a variety of drinks to choose from, such as cappuccino. Flights longer than three hours are served with lunch or dinner.
