Lake Nakuru – Located in the south of Nakuru, the lake is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It is situated in Kenya’s rift valley and popularly known for the massive population of flamingos lining its shore. The flamingos are attracted to the lake thanks to its richness of algae. Visitors can also see other birds in the area as well as other large mammals including warthogs, baboons and black and white rhinos.
