It is located on a rocky hill overlooking the village of Hohenschwangau. This castle was said to be the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle. The best options to travel around Germany is to take the train or by renting a car. If you’re on a budget holiday, traveling by arranged ride-sharing is also a good alternative. You can also choose air travel as it is usually the most convenient and at times a cheaper option thanks to the booming business of budget airlines.
