Holy Trinity Cathedral – Locally known in Amharic as “Kidist Selassie”, the Holy Trinity Cathedral is the highest ranking Orthodox cathedral in Addis Ababa. It is also the second most important place of worship in the country, after Axum’s Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion. The cathedral was built to honor the country’s liberation from Italian occupation.
