Check In

Web check-in can be done starting from 24 hours up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight. Do note that online check-in is not allowed for passengers traveling in a group of 10 or more; passengers departing from Port-Au Prince, Haïti; unaccompanied minors below 18 years old; passengers traveling alone from Rome, Italy; passengers with special requirements and passengers traveling on a codeshare flight. These passengers would have to check-in personally at the Air Transat check-in counters at the airport.


Air Transat offers two types of cabin classes on their flights. The Club Class on its wide-body Airbus jets features generous and comfortable leather recliner seats with a six-way headrest and more legroom. Economy Class seats have a four-way headrest. Each seat has an individual touch-screen on A330 in all cabins, while individual screen can only be found in the Club Class on the A310.

Baggage Fees

Air Transat Club Class passengers will have a generous baggage allowance: they are entitled to two pieces of checked baggage: 32kg per bag for flights to/from Europe and the Middle East or 25kg per bag for flights to/from the South and the United States. Passengers are also allowed 15kg of carry-on baggage allowance.

In Flight Service

F&B: Club class passengers will enjoy a welcome cocktail, a choice of select wines, complimentary meals or light snacks, depending on the flight duration. Air Transat does not serve peanut or seafood products on board. Economy Class passengers can purchase a light meal or beverage from Air Transat's Bistro menu. There is a selection of sandwiches, salads or other snack items to choose from. Air Transat also offers the option to pre-order special meals on selected flights to and from Europe.

Entertainment: The inflight entertainment system has movies, television series, and music channels. On the smaller planes, there are shared cabin screens or passengers can download the CinePlus app to their own devices for their personal on-demand entertainment. Atmosphere is Air Transat’s inflight magazine.
