Horrible and appalling experience.

Horrible and appalling experience. We booked the hotel for 7 nights. As soon as we walked in, we experienced the biggest shock of our lives: disgusting musty stench, old black, dirty marks on the carpet in the hallway, all dusty and mouldy. In the room on the bed a stained, greasy bedspread and just as dirty and smelly wool blanket. Holes in the upholstery of the bed and black foam disgusting from the dirt underneath. Shreds hanging under the bed. Floor not mopped for a hundred years. Mold on all walls. Yellow sweat stains on the pillows and both mattresses (you can find cleaner ones in the garbage). I don't want to know how many bacteria and parasites are crawling on this bed. Similar spots, yellow and gray, on the lampshades. Urine stone in the toilet, moldy edges in the shower and throughout the bathroom. My first thought: how quickly do I contract Legionella or another skin disease or get severe breathing problems as an allergy sufferer. After removing the bedspread and the woollen blanket from the bed, I was left with the white musty sheet to cover. Frozen for two nights. And my skin all over my body was itching from the corner. Despite the fact that I disinfected the whole room several times with a spray and wipes, I did not dare to take a shower. It was an imposition to force someone to sleep in this room. Bottomless impudence and a great shame for the city of Rome as the capital of Italy to let guests into such a room. And this in the center of the city, next to the many offices and consulate buildings. We moved to a civilized hotel after two days of severe trauma. I showered myself three times in a row. I washed the pyjamas at least three times as I refused to put them on after two nights spent on the disgusting mattress. In a steel you would certainly find a more comfortable place to sleep than in this pseudo hotel. I'm very surprised that no one has reported it to the health department. Of course, we didn't get the money back for the five nights. The owner is a ruthless fraudster. The hotel is a shithole. It is not located by the road, but in the courtyard in an old, dirty and damp house. The photos on the homepage are ancient and wrong. Around the building several pubs have their kitchens, accordingly in the room "super fresh air". After we turned on the air conditioning, the air in the room was even thicker. I appeal to all tour companies to remove the hotel from your listings. At the latest, if a guest falls ill, you will have problems.
Then sleep at the station.

DO NOT RESERVE

Total scam... they charged us in advance and when we let them know we would arrive after 8 pm, they stopped responding due to travel logistics. We were never able to get into our room. They didn't even give us our money back. NOT RECOMMENDED

Golpe!!!

In summary, I booked and paid for BB QUEEN in December through Booking. There was written that if I needed late check-in, I should contact the accommodation by message. I did this as soon as I booked, but I didn't get any returns. I repeated the same message asking for late check-in for both the messages in the Booking app and the accommodation email that was available in the app. I never got an answer. On the eve of the trip, I was able to contact via WhatsApp, the owner of the establishment said that he could not receive us, because I did not check in late. I insisted you did, but I didn't get a positive return. Then I said that I paid a daily stay in a hotel for the first night and that I would go there for the other two nights. He didn't even answer me anymore...
When I arrived at the place, it was quite suburban, and it was like a condominium where he had a few rooms and rented by booking. (It was very careless) We only got in, because a resident was leaving....we called several times and he did not answer us. Another resident tried to help us by calling from his own cell phone, so the owner answered and when the resident explained our situation, he said that we had canceled the reservation and turned off the phone.
Still in time: when it was midnight of the first day, I received an e-mail from Booking saying that the guesthouse had canceled the reservation because I did not show up.
Important detail: I was with my husband and my two-year-old daughter. This man knew it and still didn't accept us. We could have slept on the street if we hadn't been looking for another hotel with room to sleep. With that, I lost time on my walk and gained stress trying to solve the situation and looking for another place to sleep.
What impresses me quite well is also that I reported all this to Booking and they simply respond that I have to settle with the accommodation. That is, do not reserve the chance to make sure to stay at this establishment, because if you are not received, you will not have the slightest support from Booking to get the money back. We lost money from a 3-day reservation!

⚠️ STAY AWAY – This Property Is a SCAM. Shocking Experience. ⚠️

⚠️ STAY AWAY – This Property Is a SCAM. Shocking Experience. ⚠️
Review:
STAY AWAY from BBQueen Hotel – this property is an absolute scam.
They charged me upfront and then went completely silent—no response to calls, emails, or messages, despite countless attempts over months. This is not just poor service—this is deliberate avoidance and deceptive conduct.
When it became clear the property was uncontactable and uncooperative, I reached out to Booking.com, expecting assistance. To my shock, Booking.com continued to list and promote this property, despite having full knowledge of its behavior. This raises serious concerns about Booking.com’s due diligence and accountability.
After months of chasing, I was promised a refund—only to be sent in circles with conflicting information, false timelines, and repeated delays. As of today, I am still waiting for the EUR 218.70 refund I am legally owed. I have already filed a formal complaint with consumer protection authorities and am prepared to take further legal action if necessary.
This is a warning to all travelers:
Do NOT book this property.
Do NOT trust that you will get a refund.
Do NOT expect help if things go wrong.
I am appalled that Booking.com continues to partner with a property engaging in such fraudulent and negligent practices. This experience has not only been financially damaging, but incredibly stressful and time-consuming.
If you value your money, time, and peace of mind:
STAY AWAY.

horrifying experience

This hotel is like something out of a horror movie, dirty, moldy smell. An old hairdryer caught fire in my friend's hands. The photos on the website are old -now it's a hellhole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Everything is dirty, carpets, old blanket. There are old dead mosquitoes on the wall.
