Who knew that the Republic of Georgia would have a lively coastal city? On the shore of the Black Sea, this city serves as an important port and regional capital for the western-most part of the country. There's great nightlife here and in the summer it makes for a perfect beach holiday in the sun - in the shadow of sky-high mountains no less.

Intresting mixture old and new buildings, for a city next to the beach very sympatic, the stony beach not empty but realy ok, friendly helpful people, a nice place to stay for some days, near is a famous botanical garden worth to visit

This a small city on the Black Sea with a lot of character. The seaside promenade is full of things to do and restaurants. We are here off season but it is still nice to walk around.
