It depends on what you're looking for. If you want a full-on escape and heaps of time to relax and unwind, a spa break might be the way to go. You can enjoy everything the spa has to offer for longer, and make the most of the experience.

If you’re short on time but still want to treat yourself, a spa day could be better. You may be able to book one directly with your hotel of choice.

You’ll find a whole menu of options at most spa hotels, so it’s best to check the hotel website directly. Some of the most common include massages, exfoliation treatments and facials. There may also be beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures and hair and makeup.

Everything from hot tubs, swimming pools and saunas to treatment rooms, fitness centres and outdoor spaces. Some spa hotels also have beauty salons, and extras such as meditation spaces and complimentary cosmetics. There may be a restaurant too. Think healthy, spa-inspired menus, or indulgent options like afternoon tea.
