Air Corsica is a regional airline headquartered in Ajaccio-Campo dell’Oro Airport, on the island of Corsica in France. It was previously known as CCM Airlines, and was renamed Air Corsica in October 2010. Within France, the airline operates flights to 16 destinations, including Ajaccio, Bordeaux, Calvi, Figari, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, and Toulouse, to name a few. In addition, during certain seasons, Air Corsica operates flights to other popular tourist destinations such as Charleroi (in Belgium), London, or Clermont-Ferrand in France. Since beginning a codeshare partnership with Air France, its network has greatly expanded. This information is correct as of 30 November 2017.

Check-In Process

Online check-in is available on the website or on the Air Corsica mobile app between 30 hours and at least 30 minutes before the departure time. After completing the online check-in, you can proceed to the airline counters to get a boarding pass and to drop off your luggage. Self-service kiosks are available at some airports, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Ajaccio, Bastia, Bordeaux, Nice, Toulouse, Lyon, and Nantes Airports. At the self-service kiosk, you can print out a boarding pass and baggage tag, before dropping off your baggage at the automatic bag drop counters.

Seating Plan

There is only class of seat available on Air Corsica flights – Economy Class. Seat selection is available during the booking, and during the online check-in. The price for selecting your seats is already included in the ticket price.

Baggage Allowance and Fees

All passengers have a baggage allowance of one 23 kg luggage, and one carry-on bag with a maximum weight of 12 kg. None of the bags can weigh more than 32 kg. On domestic flights, the second additional bag costs €20 (1200 pesos), and the third additional bag onwards will cost €55 (3300 pesos) each. Any overweight bag exceeding 23 kg will cost €20 (1200 pesos). However, do note that for flights between Corsica and Paris, additional bags will cost €70. On international flights within Europe, the second additional bag costs €55 (3300 pesos), and the third additional bag onwards will cost €75 (4500 pesos) each. Baggage that is over 23 kg will cost €55 (3300 pesos).

In Flight Entertainment

Air Corsica serves all passengers a snack and a hot or cold drink during the flight. As most of the flights are fairly short and within the region, there is no in-flight entertainment on board Air Corsica flights. However, the airline does provide regional newspapers on board and their magazine, Aria, free of charge to all passengers.
