Great stay at the Sercotel Codina in San Sebastian. The location was superb - a short walk to the seaside where we picked up Dbizi bikes to cycle into the main town. Our room was on the small side but we knew this would be the case from former reviews and tbh, wasn't an issue at all. We had a lovely terrace with a sea view - perfect for relaxing with a glass of cava before going out for the evening. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good value - a nice variety of food and the fresh squeezed orange juice was definitely appreciated!

Great Location but No Frills

Hotel Sercotel Codina is recommended; very well located near Ondaretta Beach. Prices of hotels higher than Bilbao. Not a touristy feel here, more like for business accommodation. No frills,no fitness room, no bar, common room with TV or restaurant but the breakfast and service is 5 star. I recommend a desk in reception with tours, attractions,transport and restaurant information. Our room was very compact but very clean. The bathroom was dated with the shower in the bath. The breakfast staff and housekeepers were helpful and pleasant. The staff at reception were more aloof. Top class , inexpensive Basque restaurants in the street behind. Many bus stops and a great transport system in Donostia. Great location for walks and exercise. A good option.

Loved location beautiful area. Breakfast excellent. No air conditioning had to leave window open all night woke up by garbage man at 4 am. No parking and the paid parking they talk about is only 9 or 10 spots for hotel of 60 rooms.

Very good hotel.

The location is good, the breakfast is very good, and the room with a view of the bay is excellent; it is worth paying the small supplement. The reception service is good, and there is a bus stop at the door; in 4 stops, you are in the center.
