Peaceful stay, but far from the city center.

I had a very pleasant stay at The Lemonary. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the rooms are lovely, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay. It’s a perfect place if you are looking for rest, quiet, and a break from the busy city.
The only thing to be aware of is the location. The hotel is quite far from the Medina and city center, so you will need to take a taxi every time you want to explore Marrakech. This can add extra time and cost if you plan to visit the main attractions frequently.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for travelers who want tranquility and comfort, but if your goal is to walk around the Medina and explore easily, staying closer to the center might be more convenient.

Family holiday at lemonary marrakech hotel

We went with high expectations to this hotel . .However total disappointment:
NO functional Spa we were misled
NO Gym it was taken off the website no longer avalable
Breakfast poor lots of cakes and pasteries so just ordered omelette everyday
My sons bedroom and bathroom leaking
Imfact his bathroom turned into an open shower
Our bedroom toilet stopped flaushing
THE FOOD MENU BASIC ....WE had same meal everynight
WE upaid for hotel shuttle service to take us to various places on few occasions we were doubled up with other people to share(this was never mentioned )
Electricity and water cutting off
THE HOTEL IS VISUALLY ATTRACTIVE BUT FACILITIES ARE POOR
IDREES WAS V HELPFUL AND KAUSER DID HER BEST TO TRY AND RESOLVE
THINGS......STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND DID WHAT THEY COULD IN A BAD SITUATION
Finally the hotel is in middle of nowhere!! Far from any amentities and sites...Sadly
A ver disappointing experience...

The Lemonary: A Hidden Gem Near Marrakech

The Lemonary is a small, 17-room boutique hotel about 40 minutes from Marrakech. Don’t let the distance deter you—thanks to their excellent driver, Jamal, getting to and from the city is a breeze.
We were warmly welcomed by Kaoutar, who greeted us like old friends and checked us in with genuine smiles and helpful tips. Our arrival drink—a zingy mix of fresh lemon, sugar, and mint—was the perfect palate-cleansing pick-me-up.
Imad, the General Manager, personally stopped by our villa to ensure we had everything we needed, even giving us his mobile number in case anything came up. Watching Imad and his team in action, it was clear that their camaraderie translates into outstanding guest service.
Our Private Pool Villa was pure bliss. It featured two large en-suite bedrooms with garden access, a comfortable lounge, and a generous lap-sized pool surrounded by lemon trees, lavender, and cypress. The calming scent of lemon and lavender made for excellent napping conditions under the shady pagoda—it was nothing short of heavenly.
Ridar, who oversees food service, had already messaged us before arrival to confirm our lunch choices. The simple yet satisfying menu features authentic Moroccan dishes. Over five nights, we enjoyed a different meal each time—everything fresh, flavourful, and well-prepared.
Meals are pre-ordered a few hours in advance via WhatsApp, a practical system that ensures dishes arrive hot and freshly made. It took us a day to get used to it, but we quickly saw the brilliance. Ridar was also always available between mealtimes for anything we needed.
Breakfasts were a feast—no buffet here. Instead, a tiered stand of Moroccan goodies arrived at the table, including honey, cheeses, jams, olives, and breads, plus eggs cooked to order. Juices were included, but I especially loved the zingy beetroot and lemon combo.
Driss, the other half of the front-of-house team, was kind, multilingual, and always helpful. He even served our lunches privately in the garden and made sure we had everything we needed—except alcohol. The Lemonary is a dry hotel, but you’re welcome to bring your own for private enjoyment.
As a luxury travel agent, I’ve seen a lot—but The Lemonary exceeded expectations. I've already rebooked for May 2026. See you next year, Team Lemonary!

Genuine Moroccan experience in a quiet lemon grove

What a find.....
The Lemonary is a small boutique hotel about 40 mins from Marrakech.
Do not let the distance put you off as it is super easy to get to and from Marrakech and The Lemonary has a driver, Hassan.
As always it is the people that make the experiences more memorable.
Kaoutar, greeted us like old friends, it was a smooth and quick check in with lots of smiles and good information about the hotel - not to mention their signature 'lemon' drink from the lemon groves that now surrounded us.
Ridar had already messaged ahead with the menu so that we didn't miss out on lunch.
It is a simple, local menu and the food delicious (thank you chef).
As it is a small hotel they have a great system that you pre-order your lunch and supper a couple of hours before. This ensures that you food is fresh and ready to serve when you say.
Genius idea but not one that we were used to but we soon got into the swing of it.
Do not be afraid to ask outside of these times either as Ridar was always happy to help.
Breakfast was amazing and it was on our second day that we met Idriss. He was super helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had omelette's, juice and butter! Idriss served us lunch most days in our private villa by the pool and his attention to detail to present the table and lunch was amazing - thank you Idriss.
Depending on what your tipple is The Lemonary is a dry hotel but again do not let this put you off as you can be self-sufficient and where there is a will there is a way! Just be mindful and appropriate.
Couple of furry friends who also made our stay memorable: The kittens, so young and adorable. They like the Jleb breakfast cheese and the La Vache Qui Rit... defo not diary intolerant!
Also 'Dylan' the goat (we named the goat Dylan) There is a seasonal fruit platter on the menu for 60MADS and our favourite after lunch activity was to cut the fruit up and go see Dylan and the rabbits... he LOVES oranges!!
All in all a wonderful, peaceful 5 night break.
Imad you run a fabulous hotel, great staff, good food and a genuine Moroccan experience - THANK YOU.
Until next year
