Unwind in vibrant Marrakech

A Riad with a good location, friendly staff and lovely rooms! Small scale, clean and a nice fresh breakfast every morning. We had a lovely stay in this beautifully decorated Riad! The beds sleep well and even in the downstairs room you have a good restful night's sleep.

Nice riad, friendly staff, however not as expected

Roof terrace, pool and sunbeds closed during our full stay. Was announced shortly in advance so that cancellation could no longer take place, nor compensation for non-delivery of this service promised on website. Staff very friendly and warm welcome.

Riad Louhou was an amazing place to stay! The location was very accessible to several tourist attractions. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was very kind and helpful. Transit, to and from the airport, was coordinated for us and made arrival and departure very easy.

A beautiful riad in a lively neighbourhood of which you hear nothing once inside. Safe to walk also at night. Such friendly and helpful staff! Very clean and comfortable room, good airconditioned. Great breakfast. Tiny but refreshing pool on the rooftop. Shortly everything you need during your stay in Marrakesh

Overall the stay was nice, the Riad is tucked away in a quiet street but it means it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest road where you can catch a taxi. The deluxe room we stayed in was on the ground floor and our main issue with this was that it directly faced on to the dining area and as it had a full glass wall you can hear conversations in the courtyard and the occasional clanking noise from the kitchen.
My past experience with staying in Riads was a very personalised service - normally I would expect to sit down with the manager on arrival and have a chance to ask questions, ask for recommendations, book any additional services etc. However, on this occasion, our questions felt like they were quickly dismissed and we were told to refer to a leaflet which was handed to us for the sites to see. Not that it’s a bad thing to refer to a leaflet for sightseeing, but taking the time to listen to questions from guests is really what differentiates a good riad from an excellent one. Overall it was nice, and I have no other major complaints.
