We had a wonderful stay at Ryad L’khlil in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The lovely ladies who prepared breakfast each morning treated us to a delicious, traditional Moroccan meal that truly set the tone for the day.
Mohammed was incredibly helpful and always ready to guide us through the hectic, vibrant streets of the city, making navigating the medina much easier and more enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the kind owner, whose hospitality and attention to detail made our stay feel special and welcoming.
Ryad L’khlil is a beautiful showcase of Moroccan culture and daily life, and everything was clean, neat, and well cared for. One small tip for future guests: be sure to purchase a local SIM/eSIM for internet access, as GPS is crucial when getting around the streets of Marrakech.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Moroccan experience.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING RIAD LKHLIL

Our stay at Riad Lkhlil was extremely disappointing and stressful. The reality was completely different from the photos online. The photos made the property look beautiful and open, but the riad was actually covered, old and run-down. It genuinely looked like the photos were taken years ago. Parts of the walls were even crumbling and falling down.
The rooms were unclean, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the shower became dangerously hot and could burn you. The pool was very small, dirty and unpleasant. Even getting there was difficult, with a horrible walk through the Medina.
We were also led through dark alleyways by a stranger, which was frightening and made us feel very uncomfortable.
During our stay, the electricity went out for over an hour, from around 11:30pm until 12:45am, leaving us without lights or AC while surrounding buildings still had electricity. I also burned my hand on boiling water from the sink.
Eventually, we were so unhappy that we left and changed hotels halfway through our trip. We repeatedly asked the owner for a refund, but he refused. We also spent hours trying to get help from Lastminute without receiving meaningful assistance.
The one positive thing was Mohamed. He was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, this was nothing like the experience we expected from the listing. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere before booking.

Despite it being difficult to find for Marrakech newcomers (we needed some help from very welcoming and helpful local kids), the Riad Is a wonderful go-back to the past glory of Medina.
A great smile welcomed us with the warmth of a lovely family member and after we settled in the room, we were served with local tea and pastries.
We felt immediately at home.
It's in the center of Medina, but the view from the terrace has a park.
Freshly made breakfast was served in the morning together with delicious coffee and abounding tea.
We know it already is going to be out choice for the next time.
Living Marrakech the Morocco's way is much more than simply visiting Medina.
It's all about where you spend the night!
Thank you for all the attention!
Only a few rooms are available, so... Book then now!

We stayed here two nights as a group of three friends. The rooms were well air conditioned, the breakfast was simple (not suitable for someone with gluten intolerance, but that is not a surprise for Morocco), the terrace was a nice space for catching the sun.
As other reviews say, this place is hard to find. There is no sign which would have helped, and it took a while for anyone to open the door when we did find the right place. The beds were not comfy. The pool is tiny and really needed a clean (there was brown scum floating on the top for three days). There are only two sun loungers, one of which is broken, not really enough for a multiple room riad. In terms of location, you are about 15 minutes walk from the start of the restaurants and touristic area. Which was fine for us, but if you don't fancy that, I'd look for somewhere more central.
All in all, you get what you pay for, and this was comfortably 3 stars. Wouldn't stay here again, but not disappointed.

Mohamad is the sole on-site staff. He is excellent in being helpful and approachable and accommodating issues with the Riad, which is beyond him.
There are three major permanent issues with the Riad abd room. The room I was given is on groud floor and every day there was smell sewage coning from the toilet ( I think it was piping issue), room was humid with little/ no ventilation. This bad experience created a lasting bad memory for me. The Riad is located very far, about 45 mins walk, from center of Jeema El Fna
- where most tourist attractions are
The information about this Riad on the website is deceptive. I will not stay in this Riad. Mohamed is excellent, and I wish he worked with a better Riad
