Perfect location for Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, and The Burren

The town of Doolin is adorable, and the Doolin Inn is the perfect base for exploring the Aran Islands (the ferry leaves from just down the road), the Cliffs of Moher, and The Burren. Our room (a junior suite) was very nice and spacious! We liked that a filling and tasty breakfast was included with our room. Although there's no AC, our room was plenty cool even during the heat wave due to 3 windows and a powerful Dyson fan. BONUS: Several delicious restaurants are within walking distance. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Hello KMaria
Thank you for your lovely review and delighted you enjoyed your stay in what was some stunning weather this summer. It is great to get the feedback that you were so comfortable during your stay. We are so lucky to have cool Atlantic Ocean breeze on our doorstep. As well as so many great restaurants and traditional Irish music pubs.
Much appreciated
Anthony and the team.

Great location, friendly staff maybe add a fridge to the rooms

Lovely small town (300 population) on the West Coast. We stayed for two nights in a Suite and the room was spacious, clean and well maintained.
The rooms do not have a fridge or AC. The AC would not be an issue if there was flow through ventilation. The bathroom had a skylight, however had no natural ventilation.
The staff were friendly and professional. There is an excellent car park and the Irish grilled breakfast was very good, in my opinion.

Great

Lovely room, nicely presented breakfast. Beside the town. I will return, I would recommend. It’s a little expensive but I can’t fault it!

Hello K041
Thank you for your feedback and great to hear you enjoyed your stay so much. Yes we can be a little more expensive than other options, which allows us to look after our team, continually invest in the property and focus on providing a top quality experience such as a cooked to order breakfast, with full table service where everything from the jams, breads, baked hams, sauces etc. are made in house, by our wonderful chef. Opposed to the generic self service buffet that is the norm in most hotels these days.
We look forward to your return, which is the best compliment you could give us.
Much appreciated

We had a very nice large room for 3 people. Very comfy beds. Expensive hotel but worth it to stay in the Doolin area.

Ecologically friendly

Beautiful property. The rooms are very nice. The staff Maria was great kind and personable. This inn is very ecologically friendly. The lights come on when you walk down the hall turn off again when you enter your room. They actively encourage guest to recycle.

Hello Shellef
Thank you for your review and noticing all things we do to minimise our impact on our local environment (Burren UNESCO geopark) whilst making sure our guests have a wonderful stay. We have being members of sustainable tourism initiatives for years and are continually adding improvements, For instance we added 65kw of solar panels to our buildings two years ago and this now produces 70% if of electricity annually. Some days like now it produces more than we use.
Much appreciated
Anthony and the team.
