Great vacation at the "Nickisch" hotel.

We were a group of 10 people; I am writing on behalf of all 10 people. Everything we experienced here deserves an extra point, whether it was the friendliness, attentiveness, information, support, or the excellent food. Anyone who wants to stay in Schüttorf should not forget "Nickisch"; it is truly worth it. We will immediately give the hotel a 5th star . Thank you for allowing us to experience this.

Excellent Family Owned Hotel

Nickisch Hotel and restaurant is a 3rd generation family owned hotel near the border of Netherlands, just off the 30 Autobahn in Schüttorf. Our check in and reception by Elmer was efficient and lovely.
Elmer really went to the next level to look after us. The room was nice and clean with the afternoon sun on the balcony.
I had the pork schnitzel for dinner at the restaurant, it was very nice. The restaurant had a brilliant menu of diverse spoils and wines. Thoroughly reccoment this place for a stopover.

Incredibly helpful staff. Amazing food from the restaurant (room service). The venison is a must. Rooms are bright and airy and the beds are so comfortable you dont want to get up. Lovely attitude to people with pets and some lovely walks close to the hotel. Definitely a peaceful stop before heading into the chaos of German motorways.

A very nice hotel, family-run, very nice rooms, quiet location, optimal starting point for bike tours, very very friendly staff, nice sauna area, an incredibly great breakfast buffet, including various coffees, the food in the restaurant with homemade specialties and ingredients from the region is incredibly delicious

Recommended by a colleague and glad we listened. Perfect place for our needs with a wonderful staff. Great restaurant too so all you need is right there. Clean, quiet and well kept. Even the quirky door locks added a unique character to the room. We too will recommend highly
