Great Hotel

My wife and I stayed at Riva Palace for one night and only wished we had more time. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special, the owner personally came out to greet us at our rental car, helped with our bags, and guided us through the property.
Walking through an ancient Roman palace to reach your room is such a unique and unforgettable experience, how cool is that? Our room overlooked a beautiful courtyard and the palace itself, which made the setting even more memorable.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with coffee, a large bathroom, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept us cool throughout the night.
Overall, an incredible and unique place to stay. We would absolutely recommend Riva Palace to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience.

A Gem, worth the Walk & Climb

Great central location. Renovated Apartment built into part of the outer Palace wall.
We arrived by ferry from Hvar & contacted Simona, the host, in advance. Given the Apartments are 0.7 km from the port she suggested we walk and provided a photograph of the point she would meet us.
We did. There are a couple of ways to reach the Apartment building, some involving more steps than others. Stairs are also needed to reach the first floor. So if your mobility is restricted it may not be for you.
We had one of the two Deluxe Double/Twin rooms with a sea view, staying 3 nights. The whole apartment and view are stunning. Modern interior but retaining some original features. Spotlessly clean and serviced. Having a good sized fridge, kettle & coffee machine was great. Any number of bars/restaurants/supermarkets and shops nearby.
Although the walkways within the Palace are uneven, sometimes narrow and there are steps, as long as you are mindful, it is part of the history, which we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing.
Simona was very helpful, initially with our luggage but subsequently providing information/maps & recommendations. We asked & Simona arranged for our taxi transfer to the airport. Franco arrived on time came to the Apartment and helped carry our luggage to his vehicle.
Beautiful surroundings, which can be busy when Cruise liners are visiting but that does support the local economy which relies on tourism.
Lovely town, which we hope to see again & happy to recommend the Riva Palace.

Super Simona!

Structure located within the walls of the Diocletian palace in the historic center. Room located on the first floor, modern and spacious. Wonderful view of the cathedral tower. Possibility to reserve parking nearby. The Host Simona was very helpful and accompanied us on the journey "parking-accommodation" explaining every detail of the city and with maximum availability. He advised us how to move on the visit of the various places and at our request he recommended the restaurants that offer typical menus.

A great start to Croatia

Thanks to Vladimir for going above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Staying in the Old Town is very central to the beach, shopping and connecting to the Islands!

Hidden Jewel in the Palace

This is a hidden gem. It’s not a hotel — there are four apartment style rooms — but they are beautifully renovated and spotless. Very comfortable, location cannot be beat, just off the Riva and in Diocletian’s palace. The view from the two front rooms is spectacular. Communication with Simona was excellent and she met us timely and showed us everything we needed. Highly recommend.
