A cheap and comfortable hotel in the center of Sofia.

Sofia Place (not to be confused with the more luxurious Sofia Palace that belongs to the same chain) is a small hotel located in the center of Sofia, a stone's throw from Vitosha Boulevard and all major tourist attractions. Our room was very spacious with a small sitting area, minibar, air conditioning and a kitchenette. Despite the street view, the room was quiet because the street at night is not very busy. The bathroom was spacious and not windowed but equipped with a vacuum cleaner. The staff at the reception was friendly and efficient.
The downside is the single beds: comfortable but very narrow.

Terrible, dirty, and very old

Terrible, dirty, and very old, book elsewhere. We left the room to find something else; it was impossible to sleep in that filth, bedspread and curtains full of stains, walls with cobwebs and dampness. Torn upholstery. In short, to be avoided

Without infamy, without praise...

What made me choose this hotel is definitely the location.
It is located in the center. In the middle of Vitosha Boulevard.
Where on foot you can get around Sofia in peace, with the major attractions all nearby and also the most popular typical restaurants.
At 100 meters on the same street you will find one: Hadjidraganov’s Cellars....
And behind the hotel you will find Izbata tavern... both deserve.
I recommend you book your table on the internet to secure a seat at dinner.
Returning to the hotel:
Super fast check in.
We had room 302
Clean, comfortable bed, bathroom equipped with all amenities.
Traditional room.
Not luxurious.
But great as a base for sightseeing.

I would not prefer it again

For the prices he has we were not satisfied...we asked for a double bed and we paid based on this, but he had two single couples..
The only good thing is that it is central..but good luck to find parking if you don't want to in their own parking...15€ parking for 24 hours which is extra..and it is good to look if they have availability as it is small and they have only a limited number of seats.
With the same money and less we found much better the truth is..

DONT BOOK SCAMERS AND LIARS

DONT BOOK this place never!!!
So dirty room, big liars booking one room from pics and they will give u different in basement 2m under street level, girls on reception dont want to help anything just simple thinks where is metro where is good food,
Important book hotel and they give u room on another location and underground rooms in a building separate from the main hotel building (different street even )
