My first choice in Mittersill.
Parking is in the large public parking lot next door. With a permit of one's own. Good. Check-in is fast. An elevator leads to the three floors. The hallways there are somewhat winding in places, but you should be able to find the room. However, it took me a while to locate the smoking balcony (guilty). But I did find the lounge and the small gym. And only very few rooms have a balcony. The wooden floor under the carpets creaks tremendously. Even with my quietest step, I could not have snuck up on anyone. Sleepyheads need to be careful. The church is located right next to the hotel. And at 06:00, the holy bells start ringing mercilessly. For electricity (outlets, but also without), you need the room key card or an equivalent substitute.
The rooms are modern and attractively furnished. And very clean, with almost no traces. Large closet. I found the mix of wood and blue fabric furniture very appealing. Electrically, everything is great. No visible wiring, and enough outlets. Only the TV is a bit small and poorly positioned, as it is too far from the bed (but many channels). But there is a room directory, room safe, and a stocked minibar. Plus fast Wi-Fi without a password. Soundproofing to other rooms and the hallway is very good (Or I was alone on the floor). Soundproofing of the windows is also good (Had a room above the beer garden). Blackout is also great. On the third floor and in the heat, you naturally have the problem that it gets hot in the room. Even if the staff airs it out as best they can in the morning. Of course, it is unusual in our latitudes to have air conditioning. And that is not meant to be a criticism. But especially the higher-priced hotels should (Or rather ought to) think about it in the coming years.
Bathroom and toilet are in two separate rooms. I don't quite understand the point of that, because you have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands anyway, but okay. Very large shower that is watertight. Heats up incredibly fast, but the temperature then fluctuates slightly. The many fine water jets are pleasant, although a few nozzles are calcified (That is the price for the fine jets. But it doesn't bother me). Shampoo and a shelf are provided. The exhaust fan is brave, but doesn't stand a chance. Otherwise everything is fine (Towels, 2 bottles of shower gel in reserve. Found no hair).
I was a bit surprised at breakfast. You are assigned a table, which I think is rare for us. The selection is actually not bad. Above all, the homemade jam and the elderberry juice stand out. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs are on a warmer and at least lukewarm. Rolls and bread are okay. Sausage, cheese, yogurt, etc. I just could not find any spreadable cheese. And various spreads would have been nice too. I suspect the hotel adjusts the selection to a certain degree based on occupancy. A large group must have arrived yesterday; today there were various baked goods, ham, bacon, just more of everything. I think that is okay. Some cake as a sweet dessert would have been great. But you certainly do not start the day hungry.
Home-brewed beer is served at the inn. The beer garden is well-attended and really cozy. The service is very attentive. The cooking is excellent (tip: try the pork tenderloin), at prices you have to expect in the area for upscale cuisine.
Conclusion: Super bike garage. All in all, you stay very well, but of course you pay for it too. However, I would have expected a little more from breakfast. Let's put it this way: After much thought, just barely missed the top rating 4/5.
P.S. Why the mirror is famous, and where it is located, can be asked of the staff.

Central hotel with great Mood, good beer - golfer and fisherman friendly
An extended golf weekend took place and we spent two nights at the hotel.
The rooms are very spacious (single room), the wet room modern and the location optimal, quiet and central.
The restaurant offers a good selection as does the partner hotel Heitzmann.
High hospitality and above all Service (left something in the room after departure) high-class.
Highly recommended!
