Very satisfied, recommended, was very nice at the Hottererhof
Very friendly owners who take care of the concerns of their guests , great service, everything very clean, great breakfast - everything fresh and sufficient. Room was very nicely decorated would visit the Hottererhof again - was very nice there

Great chalet, fantastic views, even better staff
We travelled from Japan to Austria to spend 2 nights here with family.
Our trip was out of the ski season so we couldn't take advantage of the great ski in ski out location of the chalet but being slightly higher up hill gave great views of the surrounding valley.
The room was recently renovated and was large, very comfortable and had excellent sunlight. All areas were very clean and well finished, with nice modern touches whilst still retaining an alpine, traditional charm. We also had a really nice terrace attached to our room. Not all rooms had been renovated but even the older ones still retained their charm.
Shower took a while to warm up but once we realised this there was plenty of hot water and good pressure.
Breakfast was fantastic and we also had an evening meal prepared by Maria, Stef and the team which was also very good.
The staff made our stay though, always on hand to help, very friendly, professional and no shortage of coffee in the mornings.
Will make every effort to come back and see the place in Winter.

Average!
This hotel is situated at the end of gerlos. A bit of the main street. Walking to the skilift that connects with other lifts is about 10min. There is a skibus as well. Then it'll be a 5 minutes walk and a 2min drive. There is a beginner slope right next door. At the end if the day you can ski back to this place. Apres ski is within walking distance. Same goes for the supermarket and restaurants!
The rooms itself are okay. Nothing fancy and also nothing to complain. Ski and warmed boot lockers are available. Same goes for car parking. The break fast was mixed. We had a good breakfast and a bad breakfast. Bad as in old bread, nothing fresh.
The staff was okay, with exception. The young lady at reception was very friendly.
I wouldn't really recommend this place. No complaints, but im sure for this money you can find better in a better location!

Splendid skitrip in February
Spend 1 week in February in this B&B. Loved the view from our appartment next to the beginners skislope. Enjoyed the breakfast (fresh eggs), fruitjuce,..and apres skibar on walking distance. Hottererhof is around 800m from Isskogelbahn (3min drive).

Einladung zur Hochzeit auf der Rössl Alm (gehört zum Hottererhof), Übernachtung im CHALET TYROL
Die Hochzeitsfeier welche oben auf der Rössl Alm, ab dem Nachmittag und bis tief die Nacht hin stattgefunden hat, war genial!! ;-)) Sehr liebevoll geplant von der Eventmanagerin Maria vom Hottererhof + perfekt ausgeführt. Mit sehr gutem Essen, freundlicher Bedienung und einem gut funktionierenden Shuttle Service runter ins Tal. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.
Was überhaupt nicht in Ordnung war unsere Unterbringung. Wir waren unten im Ort im CHALET TYROL untergebracht, eines der Häuser, welches auch zum Hottererhof gehört. Die Zimmer von uns + unserer Verwandschaft waren unterirdisch, unter der Erde, sogar teilweise nur mit Lichtschächten. Ja, die Zimmer waren teilrenoviert, das fensterlose Bad war neu + ok. Aber ansonsten unglaublich. Wir hatten Zimmer 13, die Raumhöhe dort maximal 185 cm. Zimmer 8 hatte z.B nur einen Lichtschacht. Einige Bilder anbei...Türklinken fehlten, Bettzeug fehlte auch, wurde dann gebracht. Ja, die Zimmer waren nicht teuer, aber das war nicht mein Problem + dann noch bei einem so schönen Event. Ich hatte Zimmer in der teuersten Kategorie bestellt, leider erfolgos...Erst nach 2 Stunden mit mehrmaligen Rekamationen wurde uns 1 anderes Zimmer angeboten (wohl in einem besseren Hotel), aber da wir noch 2 weitere Zimmer mit Verwandschaft belegt hatten, habe ich darauf verzichtet. Und selbstverständlich werden wir das Brautpaar mit solchen Dingen nicht belästigen...Ehrensache. Echt schade, ich habe auch das Gefühl, dass man bei solchen Events die anderen Hochzeitsgäste ausnutzt (nicht das Brautpaar, welches diesen Event geplant und beauftragt hat) . Das war diesem Anlass + dem tollen Rest der Veranstaltung nicht angemessen.
