An absolute stinker
What we found: Horrible smell (mould?)
Filthy stained carpet, holes in the furniture, rusty fridge .Stained upholstery. Danger! Unterminated electrical cables hanging out of a hole in the wall. Faulty lights. Spider webs. Old toilet roll used by previous “victim”. Cracked and broken tiles. 2 thin small towels.
One THIN miserable hard pillow. No extras. Blankets from the 60’s.
Don’t do it guys. The only reason we stayed was we had already paid and it was too late to find another place.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though generally old-fashioned, in a motel in Sylvania, in Sydney's south
Abcot Inn is a 3-star venue located in Sylvania district.
We arrived at Sydney Airport at 11.30am on the day of our stay, rented a car and checked into our hotel. I booked my room and paid for it from a certain hotel reservation site in advance, so I could check in smoothly by simply presenting my ID and credit card and filling out the guest list. However, after a while, the reception called to say they had not paid the fee. It appears that your reservation information was not entered correctly.
This time I booked an Executive Room. Accommodating up to three guests, the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate a queen-size bed, sofa for two and desk with integrated coffee table and cabinet. Although the rooms were renovated, the overall facilities were noticeable to be outdated, with cracks in the inner walls. Also, the furniture in the room is old and used. The cabin was in a perfectly clean condition, but the dead plants were left on the exterior walls, giving the impression that maintenance was half done. The motel is located on the busy Princes Highway, but the noise of the cars was never a concern when they were in the room.
Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms. Bathroom amenities include solid soap and mini-tube type shampoo, conditioner and body wash, shower caps, but no razors or toothbrushes.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Videos were also viewed comfortably without losing connection or slowing down while using the Internet.
Cars are free to park in the hotel's on-site car park during your stay. Each room does not have its own parking space, so you may need to park away from your room depending on the time of day you enter.
There are few eateries and other establishments around the motel, which is adjacent to residential areas and golf courses, but within a 10-minute drive are shopping centres such as Westfield Miranda and Southgate Shopping Centre, which are convenient for dining and shopping. It is very inconvenient to go outside, as it is 1.6 km from the nearest Gymea station, so we do not recommend staying overnight without a car.
This time I stayed in the Sutherland area of southern Sydney for business convenience. I was out until about 10 p.m. for work and didn't spend much time there, so I wasn't too concerned about how old the facility was. More than anything, I was happy to have access to the parking.
