Great hotel
We booked the 2 night summer incl leahys open farm, picnic and one night dinner. Thought it was very good value for money and a great base for fota wildlife and spike island. The room was good, beds very comfortable, and great to have a fan in the room too. Staff from all departments were lovely. The meal in the bar was great, I didnt like the chocolate fudge cake however, it tasted very much like bread, so left that. Food for breakfast was great too.
We used the pool on the 3 days, the pool itself is deep with no shallow side we did have armbands I would recommend you bring your own float or pool noodle too. Lockers were great and no need for coins. Parking was plentiful too. We were in a room with an interconnecting door, so that was the only issue. Took a good while for a baby in there to settle so could hear very clearly like they were in the room with us.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for any families for the 2 night summer break

Great place and friendly staff
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great stay
Lovely Hotel, had a lovely stay with my son.
Room was lovely, was very clean. Didn’t have a nice view though I was on the bottom floor with the car park for the gym right at the window so woke up a few times to car doors opening and closing as I left my window ajar as there is no air conditioning and weather has been very humid lately. There is a fan in the room but that for me is too noisy to sleep with. Just a tip, I didn’t know were the pool was so I followed the signs which brings you to a fire exit! I was afraid to go through in case i set off an alarm but found out at reception that is the way to leisure centre for guests (bit confusing) should probably say that on a sign on the door.
Went for dinner in the hotel was amazing got a great deal 3 courses for €37 which included a free tea or coffee when your finished.
Would like say customer service from Roisin at breakfast was fantastic she was very kind and attentive.

Best Hotel we have stayed in
Top class hotel, probably the best hotel experience we have had. Rooms were beautiful, staff were so helpful and friendly, price was very reasonable, food and drinks were excellent and they even had a fairy door hunt for the kids to enjoy.
Myself and my wife were so impressed with the Talbot in Middleton that we are already planning our next trip.
We literally couldn't have asked for anything more out of our staff and will be back soon.

Myself and my family had the best 2 nights staying in your hotel, it was amazing. Would definitely return
The location of the hotel was amazing there was so much to do within a few mile radius.
The atmosphere in the hotel was incredible and all the staff were all so pleasant and helpful.
The room was very spacious for 4 people it was clean and had everything you needed.
The deal I got was amazing value for money I couldn’t fault it.
The amenities in the hotel were brilliant, from the pool, gym and restaurants it was amazing.
I slept really well because the noise level was zero
