Relaxed atmosphere

In addition to our room with a view of the sea, we were able to use a roof terrace, so we always found a nice spot in the sun or shade.
In the room we had a fridge and a kettle.
We got everything else we needed from the very friendly owner Laurent.

Nice rooms and good restaurant

The Remezzo is located right at the beginning of the village down to the beach. The hotel and restaurant is direct on the seaside. When you are dinning you look to the sea and hear the waves. Awesome.
The restaurant is nice and provides very good food. My recommendation take the Gyros.
The rooms are some but with a/c and fridge. So everything is here what you need. Very friendly staff.

Remezzo tavern

Excellent food and service! At first we wanted to go to a restaurant more central and what a surprise we discovered their fantastic food. Do not hesitate. For info portions are huge like they like to do it in Greece. Prices are very good as well.

simple rooms, but great view

The hotel offers very simple rooms, with basic furnitures, but is clean and quiet - at least in May - and the terrace offers a wonderful view on the sea and the small island where is possible to see the ancient Minoan settlement. Price is low, nearby there are very good restaurants and bars (the room themselves are above the taverna Remezzo, but it was closed when we were there), and just few hudreds meters away there is a large parking place for cars. I do not understand why Tripadvisor rates jump from rating "average" to "very good": this hotel is "good", it is above "average" without being "very good": is simple, clean, economic: in one word, "good". The small town where is located is delicious.
