Perfect stay in Plaka - Stelios is a great host.

Stelios was an outstanding host—always responsive with helpful suggestions. The spacious two-bedroom house was spotless, cleaned daily, with fresh towels and even thoughtful touches like folded pajamas. The air‑conditioned main bedroom cooled the adjacent room well, and a fan was provided (though not needed). The kitchen/dining area was a great size, and the balcony—and charming courtyard—offered lovely views. The bathroom amenities smelt amazing. The location was ideal for exploring Plaka, nearby towns, and even Klima beach by foot.
Highly recommend—would return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting Milos.

Great stay in Milos

Amazing apartment in a great location.
The owner was so helpful, collecting us from the port and booking a hire car for us. (while the location in plaka is great, I would definitely suggest hiring a car to see the island) parking is free at the property.
Within walking distance are many great bars and restaurants, I would especially recommend eating at barriello (the best meal we had in all of Greece).
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The views were amazing from our balcony. 100% recommend to stay here when visiting Milos.

Great stay at Halara Studios

My fiancé and I had an amazing stay at Halara Studios! Stelios, the owner/manager was extremely helpful and informative he drove us into town because we didn’t know we would need to rent our own form of transportation to get around the island. We would not have been able to do anything if he hadn’t helped us with this! He called some connections he had in order to get us an ATV ASAP since we didn’t have the international license required to rent a car. On our final day he even drove us all the way back to the airport. He was the most helpful host we’ve ever had. Both he and the housekeeper were very flexible with check in/check out time and we were pretty much just able to leave whenever we were ready.
The room itself was very clean and had a great view, especially at sunset. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There is a grocery store about a 3 minute drive down the road and the small town center of Plaka is only a 3 or 4 minute walk away and has some great shops, restaurants and bars. It was also only about a 9 minute ride to Adamantas where there are a ton of great restaurants and bars as well as the port where we took a boat tour. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!

A Bit Disappointing

We had a mixed stay at this property. While there were some positives (good communication via email from management, help with services, central location), there were also several negatives. On the negative side, we found the rooms to be not as nice as the photos suggested (i.e. a bit of noticeable wear and tear). Also, the bathroom and particularly the shower could use significant improvement. The shower stall is not fully closed off by glass therefore the floor gets quite wet after each shower and we had to do a fair amount of drying of the floor with towels. Also we thought the price of the property was higher than the value provided - there were better values to be found elsewhere in Milos. While the views from the property are certainly very good as noted by many others, Milos is an island full of amazing views so this was not perhaps as important to us in hindsight. Overall, we thought that the reviews for this property were higher than they should be and another perspective would be helpful. We did have stays at other properties in Greece that were clearly excellent.

Amazing view

Nice location at the edge of town with the most gorgeous view on the outside patio to enjoy for our breakfast. Friendly kind service and spotless room. We were kindly granted a late checkout and it was gratefully appreciated!
