Lovely hotel.

We had a lovely time at Luca Mare in Gouvia. It's a small apartment hotel and we had the 7 person apartment. It's good value so not perfect but clean and good air con/good showers and a lovely breakfast. The breakfast service was buffet style with a good selection. The pool was clean and empty lots of the time. It was very quiet and peaceful away from the main road, the atmosphere was nice with families, couples and small groups enjoying holiday time. Service was good from the bar and cleaners. Gouvia isn't the best location as the beach is stones and murky water but we hired a car and explored the island.

Excellent hotel, central location

Excellent hotel offering a nice pool,
Very interesting location for touring the island of Corfu
Good and varied breakfast.
Free parking available in case of car rental.

Terrible

We made a reservation for 4 nights but left after the first night, giving up what we had paid for the stay. It was one of the worst experiences we had in a hospitality establishment.. The mattresses and pillows were a caricature, impossible to sleep. The bed had not been prepared and on the double bed, there was only a sheet for a single bed. The curtain, if it can be called that, did not sufficiently cover the window, and so at 5 in the morning, the room was super bright. No mosquito nets on the windows, and therefore many mosquitoes in the room. We couldn't wait to leave, and so we did. No contact from the establishment to try to understand what had happened, which simply reported the "no show" when they knew perfectly well that we had slept the first night.
I do not understand why these people treat tourists like trash instead of thinking that they are their wealth.

Fresh rooms and nice pool.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Located about 10 min walk from the sea. Wonderful view from the balcony on the second floor. Plenty of greenery in the garden.Serves breakfast for a supplement and arranges taxi to the airport. Would consider staying here again.

The owners are the nicest people so friendly helpful & kind

This hotel was a last minute change due to change in circumstances so we weren’t sure what to expect.
I’m well travelled and have never been anywhere where the owners are so friendly, kind & helpful nothing is to much trouble and if they can help they will they really are a lovely family & work very hard to ensure your comfortable & have everything you need.
The cleaner is such a lovely lady she works so hard everywhere is spotless.
Our room was cleaned everyday & bedding changed twice during our 8 day stay.
The rooms are exactly what you see on the pictures yes they are very basic but it’s clean & comfortable it’s a very quiet & chilled atmosphere.
We hired a car it was a great base to go and explore the island.
Locally there are plenty of lovely restaurants we had so many lovely meals.
The owners and staff are what make this a lovely place to stay.
