Great stay in Sifnos.

Great stay in Sifnos. Very helpful people, and you feel like at home here. Great view of the bay and many olive trees. Location is perfect if you have a car. Otherwise you can walk like 15 minutes to the most beautiful beach in the world with lots of great restaurants. Totally recommended. All the best from Ogz and Glsrn

This was the perfect place with the perfect hosts. Quiet with a spectacular view of the sea and sunrise, it’s slightly elevated on a hill, so there is also an incredible breeze that whispers through all day and night. Heaven. And it’s a short walk to the beach and ALL the restaurants in Platis Gialos.
The hosts were so kind and helpful, filling in the gaps where I sort of dropped the ball due to not understanding how things work there on Sifnos: taxis, rentals, timelines etc.
Of all the traveling I’ve done, and it’s quite a lot, these were my favorite, most helpful hosts.

Studios with Great Views and Good Value

We stayed at the Evdokia Studios early September 2017. Perfect time to travel to Sifnos. Crowds are gone, but the water and air still warm and inviting. We were extremely happy with Evdokia Studios. Ours was adequately sized with two balconies- the eastern exposure we used for later afternoon with the sun behind us; the other for morning breakfast. Great views over the entire bay of Platis Gialos. The walk is very doable. Max 10- 15 minutes--( we both are retirees and the path is not strenuous, taking you through lovely countryside as you descend to the sea) Best part: the first beach that you come to once reaching the main road is THE BEST beach on the cove. Go there. It is public, very well maintained and for a few euro, you rent comfortable chairs and shade. We loved the beach, so much so, that all our plans to venture out and explore the island kind of dissipated each morning when we fondly remembered the enjoyable sun/sand/water/book of the day before!! Can't say enough about Evdokia. She is a true innkeeper. Our studio was spotless. Cleanest room we've ever stayed in. She and her husband went out of there way to help us with all our needs. The house itself is situated in a very quiet location. Truly in nature. The actual layout of the rooms creates some noise from the various balconies. But this would not dissuade me from returning. A great find at great value.
Dinner tip: Try the fish restaurant Limanaki at the next cove/village of Faros. Outstanding!
Sifnos is known for ceramics. Athenians we met on the beach tipped us on two studios: Sifnos Stoneware in Artemonas and Lempesis Ceramics near Apollonia. We found beautiful pieces in both places. Highly recommend Sifnos!

So helpful

Just wanted to insist Evdokia is really helpful.
And the place is good too, nice, quiet, clean, 10mn walk to the beach and bus, large terrace, some shadow, goats in the neighborhood, walking paths nearby

Lovely studio apartment with fantastic balcony views

Admittedly a little far from the beach without a car (be warned), the studios are a great size and each has a balcony with wonderful views. The studios are cleaned daily, an added bonus, and the owners are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Very quiet location, nicely equipped kitchenette, would definitely stay here again.
