UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
The experience was great: a very nice atmosphere, excellent service from the staff, very clean facilities, and perfectly located so you can walk everywhere. Santo Domingo metro station is also just two minutes away, which made it much easier for us to move around Madrid.

Clean, friendly and convenient
If you are fit enough to climb up to your bed and you sleep like a log, even if occasionally an alarm clock rings at 5:00 a.m. , you will appreciate the many advantages of this hostel.

Sweet Spot Hostel
Generator Madrid is at a good location so a lot of the places are walkable. The room we have on the 5th floor is with a spacious comfortable bed, 2 side tables with lamp lights. The bathroom has new fixtures and it has hand soap by the sink, a body wash in the shower, and a hair dryer. The room decor is industrial and you don’t get much view. The air conditioning is up high so the cold air doesn’t hit you directly but the room gets more comfortable as time goes if you let it run. One of the towels was not as thick and soft as the other one. There are some supplies as the receptionist that you could buy, such as an adapter. They are priced almost double though so if you want to save some money, I’d go to the nearby supermarket and across it is an Asian-owned store where you could get your stuff.
Generator Madrid has a restaurant and parking on ground floor, a recreation space in the mid level, and a rooftop bar.
I’d totally go back here in the future.

Great stay at Generator Madrid
We had a great stay at Generator Madrid with our family, as everything was excellent and made even better by the kindness and helpful attitude of Jesús, Queenie, and Víctor, who gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit in Madrid. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and greatly improved our experience, and we truly appreciated all their help. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would definitely come back and recommend Generator Madrid.

Not ideal for actually getting sleep.
Right downtown. Definitely more of a youth hostel. We booked a little too last minute to find a place in Madrid, so this worked. Price was reasonable. Lots of people up LATE into the night (even for Madrid), running through the halls. Lots of loud voices. We got horrible sleep. Very clean. Nice rooms. Super trendy. Kitchen/lounge area really cute. Locked elevators, helping control for people who were not guests. They had lockers for us to keep our bags until we could check into our room. Would stay again only if it was last minute again.
