No frills, nice hotel in a beautiful spot

This is a small family hotel in the hamlet (barrio or auxoa) of Natxitua, about a kilometer, or a little more, outside of Ea. Ea is a small, attractive fishing town (very Basque, everyone speaks the language) with a very protected sand beach for those who like that. The hotel is on a hillside and has a nice garden behind, where the rooms are. From the room's terraces you can see the ocean, as you can from the front on the bar's terrace also. A rather spectacular view. We only had one breakfast and it was good. The pintxos we had other days were good too as was the service. I see that the midday menu has a good local following which is always a good sign. The people who run the hotel are very nice and helpful. Over four nights, I saw a fair amount of foreigners, Spanish, bicyclers and newly weds come and go. The rooms are on the small side but have everything you basically need when traveling and especially since they look out on the garden are an enjoyable space. This area is great for hiking to basically deserted (rocky) beaches or following the coastline along rugged cliffs. Stunning!

Super séjour

Super accueil, les patrons sont très agréables.
Les plats du restaurant sont un peu chers mais produits frais.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux.
La vue du restaurant est superbe sur la mer.
Endroit propre et calme et il y a tout un tas de choses à visiter aux alentours comme la vile de Gernika, Elantxobe et toute la côte .

Una perfecta eleccion

Es un sitio perfecto para conocer los lugares cercanos.
El hotel con buenos servicios y el restaurante inmejorable con priductis de altisima caludad.
Pero sibre todo quiero agredecer la atencion recibida por todo el personal que son super amables y atentos a todas tus necesidades. Ademas tuvimos un problema con el coche y nos ofrecieron tida su ayuda.
Vamos un 10 en todo y muchas gracuas

Enamora ...

Estancia de 5 noches en pareja. Situación y vistas espectaculares. Habitación amplia y con todo lo necesario. Pero sobre todo , trato y cercanía con José Andrés y su equipo. Apuntado para próximas visitas a la zona. Volveremos sin dud

Excellent accueil

Excellent accueil esprit familial dommage que le restaurant soit un peu cher en tarif mais restaurant de très bonne facture. Les alentours sont magnifique situation idéale pas trop éloigné de Bilbao. La cote est magnifique vous êtes au pays basque
