Spacious with a view!

Looking out from the balcony you get an amazing vista. Cala Morrell is beautiful with scenic views at every turn. The apartment was clean, spacious and functional, everything we needed for a family trip in the autumn Minorcan sun. The place could do with a kettle but other than that had everything needed. BBQ and sunloungers out the back and pool only 15m away. Up a step hill and away from the bar and restaurants, a car is definitely needed.

Worst 7 nights sleep ever

We booked a trip to stay at these apartments, after reading what there is from the owners, it's fairly accurate except we didn't have a safety box and no BBQ, or umbrella on terrace.
If you stay in this resort you would 100% need a car, it feels like the end of the earth.
The beach is about 100m wide and very rocky, the water wasn't clear.
The resort has 2 restaurants which close at 5pm, the only place that would still be open after 5pm is the hotel on the main roundabout where you enter the resort, (an on 2 occasions we ventured over about 8:30pm and it was closed).
If you like sleep do not stay at these apartments, No air-con anywhere, as soon as the sun starts to go down CLOSE ALL WINDOWS,
There is a massive mosquito problem in this resort, we spent most of the night using flip flops to kill them, or close the windows and it's like sleeping in a sauna, all 3 of us were bit at least 15 times a night.
There is also a huge ANT problem at the villa, the day we got there around 100dead ants all over kitchen work tops. Throughout the trip ants everywhere, kitchen living room, bedrooms, climbing on your cloths, and even walking all over your toothbrushes.
Besides all this, looking out of the windows at scenery is very nice, just stay in a different hotel.
Also pool area was ok, except no bar.

Dear customer, we feel the inconveniences that may have suffered in our establishment, as for the hours of the restaurants, the Bar Estiu that is on the beach close the kitchen at 17pm, El Trogoditas the kitchen closes at 22.30pm and the Bar of Sa Cala closed at 21.30 but do not give dinners, so it refers to the ants we usually fumigate the apartments but there are pockets that sometimes we do not see and as for the mosquitoes we usually give a mosquito devices so that at night sleep comfortably, if still your stay was not to your liking, we feel it and we will try to take action on it so that it does not happen again. We have nothing more than to thank the valuation made.

Lovely spacious apartment

Very nice apartment, fully fitted kitchen with cooker, washing machine toaster microwaves etc.Very spacious. Lovely outlook over countryside.. Lovely clean pool area, not many sun loungers and at the time we stayed no cushions so they were quite uncomfortable. Downside was nothing around, 3 restaurants two shut at 10pm a car is a MUST to get anywhere, very very quiet.

Peace at last!

Beautiful place, perfect for a peaceful get away. We had a hire car which is a must really as there is only one restaurant and no supermarkets in Cala Morrel. There are supermarkets (including a fantastic Lidl !!!) about a 10min drive away on the outskirts of Cuitadella.
We stayed in the duplex which had two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a huge living area and well equipped kitchen complete with freezer and washing machine.
The views from the balcony over the sea are absolutely stunning, it's such a tranquil place and the sunsets are amazing! The swimming pool is quite small but I was the only one in it most of the time.
The only down sides were the mosquitos, so take some repellent and no big mugs or glasses in the kitchen, only tiny ones....so if those are my only complaints it can't be bad!
Bit of a shame that no one comes all week to change the sheets or towels, but you have a washing machine so all ok :)
Yes we will defo be back, thank you Es Brucs!

Quiet but cute

We have recently come back from a weeks holiday staying at Es Brucs.
If you want to escape the crowds and the Brits abroad then this is the place for you.
A taxi ride into the main town is about 12 euros so not too bad.
However where Es Brucs is there is only 1 restaurant and no supermarket so you will have to find yourself either driving or grabbing a cab everynight
The swimming pool was clean however the sun loungers were really uncomfortable and with no umbrellas!
It would have been nice as well if someone if only once came and changed our towells and bed linen.
Not sure I would rush back there a little too quite for a couple in their mid 30's
