Located in the lively Raval district and 270 yards from Las Ramblas, Hotel Casa Teva Barcelona has easy access to Barcelona’s Old Town. It features 24-hour reception and air-conditioned rooms with a TV. Gaudi‘s Palau Güell is only 110 yards from the hotel, while La Boqueria Market is just a 5-minute walk away. There are several restaurants, bars and cafes in the surrounding area. Barcelona’s Old Port and Maremagnum Shopping Center are a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Drassanes Metro Station is approximately 550 yards from the hotel. Guests can reach sights such as the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell in around 20 minutes, by Metro.

For the price, above average!
Room...clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom, lighting good, and quiet.
Security might concern some in this infamous Ravel area, the front desk are very attentive to who enters, access is well controlled, and the owner has invested in top notch room doors/locks.
Slightly dissapointed to not have anything in d the room to drink from, not even a single glass, asked at front and given a cheapo paper cup..
Interesting collection of offroad moto bikes in lobby, owner collects.
Wud be good if they had a coffee corner in the lobby...

Cheap, but hard to enjoy your stay
However, the negative points made it hard for us to enjoy our stay at times. The rooms are quite small (smaller than expected), and the shower is a bit tricky to handle. Even with the shower curtain closed the water goes everywhere, which is annoying.
Worst was the fact that the rooms aren't very noise-proof. Other guests walking in the hallways, or using their toilets/showers causes a lot of noise. In our case there were VERY noisy guests, and here the hotel did not intervene. All in all we would recommend to avoid this place.

Nice hotel on nice place! Great staff!
Staff is really kind! Cleaning every day!
Supermarkets and La Boqueria are on 5 min walk distance!
Last day you can leave your luggage in the hotel until is time for leaving that beautiful city!
