Inconspicuous from the outside, but with a rich interior

:) Assuming you know what standard you are writing for, then:
+ interesting adaptation of an old boarding school (I think)
+ with a noticeable spirit of the past
+ but good conditions
+ comfortable and clean room
+ well-kept bathroom
+ smiling, helpful staff
+/- walk from the railway station is about 15-20 minutes, to the castle about half an hour
+/- prices. a matter of taste and experience
PROTIP: public transport in Malbork is free, and the stop is just a stone's throw away :)
Thank you for your hospitality and see you on the trail!

Nope!

Avoid this place if possible. There are so many better hotels in Malbork. It is placed a bit offside as well with about 2 km walk into city centre. Rooms are in desperate need of renovation (except the toilets that are fresh). It felt a bit unsafe where locked doors can be opened from the outside with a hard push. Poor wifi too and the beds are old and not very comfortable. There is a restaurant in the lobby area which is run separately (didn't try it) and there is also a large room for hosting parties (which happens from time to time - you won't be able to miss it if it happens). But basically - stay away if you can.

Food in their restaurant is to die for.

The hotel is looking rather old fashioned from the outside, and some of the rooms are also a bit old fashioned, however nothing really to complain about. I will suggest to the owners to embrace the soviet era style and create something really unique.
You will find your towels, shampoo and soap, comp water and nice size fridge (be careful not to put the settings on full blast as IT WILL freeze your liquids in it). The beds are really comfy.
But the best part of this place is their restaurant, OMG the food we had in the evening was delicious, traditional of great size. It is highly underestimated and should be advertised on its own also.
Overall, if I will ever go back to Malbork, I will stay here again or at least will come back to the restaurant.

Aviation/Photogarphy trip to Poland.

Arrived here in good time on the second day of our trip to Poland. Reception was efficient getting us our rooms in good time. Restaurant was of a good standard with a fair selection of food which was well presented. Rooms were clean and the breakfast adequate for being in Europe.

A very pleasant place to spend a night or stop a few days

Visited here as part of a group of about 30 people. Check-in was efficient and quick. The twin-bedded room was quite spacey. The room and hotel was very clean and the staff throughout were charming and very helpful. The hotel is located quite near the town centre and has parking. It is about 20 minutes walk from the castle. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was reasonably priced and was excellent.
If I was back in the area, I would definitely stay here again
