Friendly Night Auditor

The night auditor welcomed us very well and served us a tea. The Riad is located 6/7 minutes walk from the main square. The room and breakfast were impeccable such as the room service. Asharad and Jamal were always available and ready to help. We were very pleased and thankfull for these days.

Stelios & Giannis at Riad Sabbah

We stayed at the riad for 6 nights and everything was absolutely perfect! Very clean riad, beautiful place, close to the main old town square. The breakfast is great with alot of tasteful stuff. The people at the Riad are so lovely, friendly and smily that you will remember forever! They guided us at first days alot and they were all very helpful! We enjoyed our stay and we recommend absolutely! Thank you Hakima, Najat and Michel!

It's not what it says on the tin

I arrived at the Riad Sabbah and was greeted warmly. After a few moments I asked to see my and ( I booked through booking.com.) On the website it states as part of the in room facilities air conditioning and a patio,
At the time of asking to see the room I was sitting in a communal area with tables and chairs with a kitchen off to one side.
There looked like a corridor on another side of the room, and that is the direction we went in.
As it turned out it wasn't a corridor, but the room I was being offered.
It had no air conditioning, no patio, infact it didn't even have an external window! I commented it looked like a dungeon.
When I complained and showed the assistant the printed description she phoned her boss. I was offered a different room, but just for one night, not the three nights I had booked. I asked to see the room, which was at least on the first floor on a landing overlooking the sitting area. Apart from that it still had no air conditioning or windows. When I mentioned the air con the assistant pointed to an electric fan. The assistant was polite and apologetic, but the hotel was far from what was described on line, so much so that I did not stay.

Lovely Riad in the middle of Marrakech

Our arrival late at night was no problem at all. We were welcomed very friendly.
The breakfast was very good, especially the fresh orange juice.
The location is ideal. You will get to Djemaa el Fna in a few minutes by foot.
I would fully recommend the Riad Sabbah.
