Good Club Med well located but some maintanance lacking

This is almost exactly like the Hotel at Teotiuacan, and was a part f the Club Med Chain. The hotel staff were helpful and it was on the surface quite nice. We immediately found that the lock on our ground floor window was broken. Staff needed some convincing that the screen was insufficiently secure. At our suggestion they found a wooden rod that they cut to fill in the window track, to lock the window much as I use at home. All good, but this kind of thing reflects a certain lack of maintanance at this modern place getting a bit gray around the edges. I took a dip in the nice pool (find the hot water vents).

Very nice but very expensive

I went day pass told reception that the water was heated and icy, the food is not good, the prices high and in the end they did not give me my payment ticket.

Good scenery but very bad Service

The hotel is nice for the view of the church, but if I had known I didn't stay, the very old hotel sheets, the mattress stained with something, dirty hotel bathrooms, Food Service is very bad, dessert changed me and the one I was spoiled, the very impolite waiters, to do events everything ask you for cash, the manager man who is there in charge of the restaurant, a steward! I would have loved to complain to the hotel owners, because between managers they cover up their bad Service.

Former Club Med resort now a family hotel

Used to be part of Club Med resort. Hotel rooms simple but well designed. Only a couple of chairs that move. Almost exactly the same of the Villa Arqueologicas in Teotihuacán which is part of the same chain. Good service. Okay food. Did enjoy the chocolate ice cream. Lots of families with young children. But hotel is very quiet at night
