Great Security

What I liked the most is the level of security. I like staying in local hotels in politically unstable countries. The hotel is discreet and it is hard to know it is a hotel. It requires buzzing in twice like a jewelry store to enter, then walking up a flight of stairs. My room was up an additional flight. I felt very safe and secure.
The decor is lovely and very Ralph Lauren. However, it looks like they forgot to renovate the showers, which were meh.
The breakfast also looked meh, so I skipped it.
But in a country like Mali, excellent security is paramount and the hotel seemed very safe.

nice small hotel

We spent 2 separate nights here. Overalll, its a nice hotel . The bed was a bit on the firm side. wifi was reasonably fast. AC worked well. Our first room had no soap in the bathroom. in the 2nd room the shower was clogged. staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent, but not special.

Very elegant

Looks so so outside but once entered~it is just Magnificant! The intereior decor is very elegant and the whole fitting out looks very nice and new. Room is very clean and comfortable, and i like the pillows and blanket (soft and fluffy) very much. The restaurant is again very elegant, though a bit pricy, very limited choice for vegetarian, but quality of food is good.

dont bother with the restaurant service

rooms large, clean, pleasant service, Security reasonable, ..... but the restaurant takes a little getting used to if you are used to service. Far too longer wait for my patience, in excess of 1 hour for 1 course...and I was first in the restaurant...?! Goodness knows what happens if you got there a little later and ordered 3 courses....
So for accomodation, not a bad place, but the restaurant, well I wouldn't bother

The best so far experienced in Bamako

Stayed at the Loft for one night from the 28 to 29 November 2017. I took my chance to go straight to the hotel after my flight was cancelled. The owner was very accommodating and found me a room right away even though the hotel looked and is often fully booked. The room was good comfortable and the decor simple but beautiful. The restaurant is extremely good and the food excellent, prices are a bit on the high end but the food is good. The only things that I found uncomfortable and could be improved is the internet speed and water flow to the toilettes. Woke up at 03:00 am and wanted to have a shower and there was no water in the taps. Overall recommended and a good choice, better than other 5 star hotels I have stayed in Bamako.
