Hotel Deva Inn

Hotel Deva inn is situated very close to Famous Kasi Vishwanath temple gadaruliya Chowk very close to famous dashvamesh Ghat banars and holy ganga river. All Famous eating Point also nearest to hotel.Reasonable Price and good food coop. Staff,Strongly Recommended.

Fraudsters scamming money

Worst experience ever! I called them to check if there’s rooms available for 4 adults as me and family were visiting kumbh and they said they have room available and that we would have to pay 50% beforehand so that they could keep rooms for us! After sending the money along with screenshot, they asked to send more money and this time they told to send money to just check for and that they will send the money back in 1minute, this was suspicious! So I asked them who are you fooling and they still tried to convince to send them money and I didn’t and they cut the call after telling me that room would not be available for us! We reached Varanasi late and since we couldn’t reach to the hotel address by our car as there’s restrictions of vehicle entry in that radius, we couldn’t go to hotel to ask for refund and now they are nor picking the phone and neither refunding the amount of 4500INR. Please beware of these scams before paying online!

Bad experience with the staff

Too expensive considering what they offer. While the room itself was okay..the staff expects you to follow them blindly and not look for other options. Especially that guy Akshay ... if they feel you want to explore things on your own, they will discourage you to the maximum extent. As per them ..if you don't listen to them you won't be able to do anything in varanasi!!!

Pretty great hotel

I stayed at this place with my family for 3 days and was really happy with my stay there.
The hotel is in the prime location and the best part is, as a Traveller, you can always get conveyance in a few seconds to go to any tourists place.
This has a walking distance from from the Vishwanath temple and all the ghats.
You can always get an auto rikshaw here, no matter how early or late it is.
The stay was comfortable with attached washrooms in each room, cable TV and comfortable beds.
The hotel also has an elevator.
Great place to stay with legit prices.

Good for experiencing true Varanasi with family

Very conveniently located for visiting Varanasi, right at Godowlia crossing - be it for Kashi Viswanath temple, the ghats, local shopping, food options or getting transport to other parts within Varanasi or elsewhere. With air conditioned decent sized rooms and a lift, you still get to stay close to the true Varanasi but with comfort and yet not pay a premium price.
The only negative point with the hotel is the noise which surrounds the area near Godowlia. The sound proofing is not adequate. Though we travelled by train, figured out parking would be a problem as well. The hotel is in the process of setting up their own roof top restaurant, which will be convenient to the boarders.
In summary, very good option if you are travelling with family, especially the elderly and yet want to stay in the heart of Varanasi.
