Charming hosts, great value

We stayed at Deep Blue Studios for 1 week and were extremely happy with our choice. The studios are located a short distance behind lovely low-key Logaras beach with its 2 tavernas. Accommodation is simple but spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is equipped with all the essentials and a decent fridge. Air conditioning is provided in the bedroom which is a good size. Our room had a balcony facing the attractive garden at the rear and a terrace with a glimpse of the sea. The owners, Maria and Elias, do their utmost to ensure an enjoyable stay and will collect clients from the port of Parakia. Deep Blue Studios are excellent value for money and I would happily return.

Waste of money

You can easily find better accommodation for your money.I totally don't recommend Deep blue studios for the following: no mosquito nets on windows (with plenty of mosquitos in the room), very small kitchen with some worn out kitchenware and utensils, rusty cooking hoob, fridge with freezer not working at all, old-worn out chairs on the terrace, without hot water from late afternoon, water leaking in the bathroom (from wc toilet), towels were changed, but with dirty ones (stains), air condition very noisy not cooling at all - no effect

Construction work in the building

Construction work in the building – in the middle of tourist season! Were the owners unable to carry out renovations during the winter? I can say on behalf of all the guests that we came (and paid) for a vacation, not for listening to construction noise all day…

Very noisy place!

Very noisy place! The owner was renovating one of the apartments and causing terrible noise from early morning till late afternoon – despite house full of guests. One day the smell of some poison chemical woke me up – later I found out it was paint (or polish) for concrete. The very next day I got sick – coincidence? Also noise from the nearby road, noise from neighbors, noise from owners talking loud all day, noise from the owner's chickens…

Nice location close to beach and very friendly hosts

Maria and her family make you feel very welcome. They are very close to the cute harbor and the beach, with several restaurants. A little further down the beach I found some trees that were perfect for hanging my hammock. A little inland you find a small supermarket. The room was basic, but clean. Fridge, water cooker and a hotplate, but no microwave. There is a wonderful grill on the premises that guests can use. The mattresses were a bit old, we were comfortable enough, but some people might think them too hard. Nice atmosphere with lanterns around the garden and a small fountain with a turtle. The room had a nice balcony looking out over the garden.
