Best place in Chora, Kythira.

Simply put, the best place to stay in Chora, Kythira. Spatious rooms with impeccable view, cleanliness, friendly host, great air conditioner, fast internet, long story short : all you can ask. Highly recommended for couples of any age. Stay at least 4 nights and don't miss Kapsali. Tip for the best room: chalkos!

“ Chora View Studios“ Poor Value for Money

Although the lady in charge (Mme LITSA) was very polite, the room (Moudari) was extremely melancholic. No view at all. In addition to that, the route to the studios was very narrow (a normal-width car cannot pass) with result to carry our luggages on foot under the sun with a temperature of 40 C. Most importantly the price per night (€110) was extremely high (out of market price for the specific month). We visited other studios (sea front) near by at Kapsali with spectacular sea view, better furnished and more specious at a price of €75 per night!!! Worst value for money.

Good choice to visit Kythira

We stayed 6 nights at Chiara view and felt immediately at home. Very welcoming and helpful lady who runs the facility. Despite her difficulty communicating in English she still managed to give us advice and understand our needs, she allowed us to change rooms because we preferred the sea view.
Very cozy common areas, furnished with antique furniture.
Our room was quite small but equipped with everything we needed for breakfast that we consumed in the quiet common terrace overlooking the sea.
Good value for money.

GO FOR THE ISLAND STAY FOR THE SERVICE

Welcome with a box of sweet Greek loukoumia, stunning service and the host (Litsa) makes you feel right at home. Spotless rooms and great views of Kapsali area and the balcony is right next to the castle. Right by the action of Chora beautiful street with shopping cafes and restaurants is guarantee to give you a stay of excitement. Kythira is an island that offers everything. We strongly recommend it . JUST GO!!

My beautiful home from home, it feels as if being welcomed by family!

I've stayed at Chora View now many times. I could never think of staying anywhere else. (Many other places on the island are traditional but tired and need updating), however Chora View is an old building which has been lovingly restored to its former glory carefully refurbished with antiques and original art.
But the best bit is I found there my island family Litsa has become my island sister. She is caring without being intrusive, if she notices the way I like things, the next time I visit, it is exactly the way I like it. But more than that she is one of the most spiritual, beautiful, caring souls and who is totally focussed on making you happy.
Thank you Litsa, much love Charlie
