Three-night stay while visiting Europa Park.

A lovely place to stay overlooking the river Elz in the peaceful little village of Rust.
The apartment my two teenage daughters and I stayed in was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed and comfortable beds.
Nice view over the river and terrace to unwind and have a drink after a busy and noisy day in Europa Park.
Only a ten minute walk away.
Many thanks to our host Frau Hoffmann who gave us a warm welcome, goodies much appreciated after a 10-hour drive ( ice cold beer and mineral water, crisps, pretzels and sweets) and who was very helpful and eager to make our stay worthwhile.

I recommend the Gästehaus to anyone planning to visit Europa Park and looking for the perfect place to stay.

Very disappointing

A valid booking confirmation was available from our side. Unfortunately, this was wrongly issued by the house – instead of 2025, it said 2024. After telephone consultation, assurances were given that the error would be corrected and the booking would be rewritten to 2025. Despite several calls in the week before the planned arrival, our reservation was finally cancelled at short notice at 14:00 on the day of arrival. In the end, we were left without accommodation and were merely fobbed off with excuses and the statement: "we stole their time". Very disappointing – that’s not how you treat guests.

Room with it all

The two bedroom apartment was big, with a balcony, with everything you need in a kitchen, room to sleep six, and close to Europapark. They even had a few beverages and snacks thrown in. Their was no air conditioning, but there were fans in every room making in comfortable for moderate temperatures. Everything was clean and in good order. You could easily make this a stay location to travel out to other areas to visit.

Lovely apartments, great location,

I was so thrilled that we booked these apartments for our trip to Europa park. They are within walking distance of the park, are large, well decorated, and have a lovely view over the river. It was exceptionally hot while we were in Rust, and the owners had kindly left Fans in our rooms to help us stay cool. They also provided us with cool drinks when we arrived. We had no problem checking in, and had a lovely experience the full time we stayed here. I certainly would return to these apartments when returning to Rust.

Walking Distance from Europa Park

Our first Destination was Rust & our kids were very excited to be amused at Europa Park. Hence we decided to stay at Rust in Black Forest. It is a very Quiet Place & very nice play to stay, besides the apartment was wonderful. Verrry Spacious for 4 of us. Host lives nearby & was a great help in suggesting
