Comfortable and picturesque!

We stayed here one night on route to Neuschwanstein/Hohenshwangau castles. We were pleasantly surprised to find an apartment with kitchen with stove top, fridge, cupboards, plates/glasses, large bedroom, a pull-out couch for the kids in the living room, a dining table, plus a large wrap around deck with seating/table and beautiful views of the Alps. Free internet worked after a bit of waiting. They do offer a lobby with tables/seating where you can get a better connection. Dinner and drinks at the outside seating area was relaxing and the food/drink was delicious, traditional German fare. We had a really nice waitress and the owner gave the kids a lollipop. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck of our apartment in the evening and enjoying the view and the cool, clean air, the kids liked a bat who flew by, whom I assume took care of the mosquitoes as there were none! There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Breakfast was a delicious buffet and I had a nice chat with the owner about Maine and Stephen King. Very friendly and relaxing here, I would definitely come back as I'd like to try to the sauna downstairs. Only a 10 minute drive to the big castles.

Cosy hotel with good restaurant

The owners are extremely helpful and "gemutlich", the rooms are spacious but it little dated. Clean and great view

Super Familienurlaub in sehr schönem Haus

Vom netten Empfang bei der Anreise bis zu dem riesigem Familienappartement mit genialer Aussicht hat alles gepasst. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant "Alte Tränke" mit sowohl regionalen Spezialitäten als auch internationalen Gerichten.
Die neuen Besitzer sind immer um die kleinen und großen Gäste bemüht.
Wir haben unseren Urlaub schon wieder gebucht. Saunabereich sehr urig mit Felsendusche.
