Basic comfort at a good steakhouse

The hotel is located just outside Netphen and on a hill overlooking the Sauerland. Our room hadn't really picked a nice one, but it was given to us because it's out of the sun most of the time during the day. Great thought from the manager. And certainly because there are no cooling options in the room.
Plenty of spacious room with modern bathroom and lovely hot shower. Good lighting available. Although the light in the room itself is only bright spots and no reading lights. even one socket by the bed for the entire room (and one by the sink). No kettle, no fridge, but an old telephone (not connected) in the cupboard). With only a TV and a wardrobe hardly any facilities to mention. But one chair and no desk is also minimal for a double room.
Entrance to the hotel is the same as that of the steakhouse. Good restaurant that mainly attracts people from the area. Strange that we could not settle that together with the hotel. Great breakfast. The rooms and the corridors are very boring.

Unfortunately, bad reviews are always deleted due to defamation on Google. We were there several times with the family and each time some things were wrong. For example, we finally got an ALCOHOL-FREE beer at the fourth attempt.

Not recommended for wedding (caution flat rate)

Booking Referral for solemnity, complete decoration was wrong, not as agreed. Food was loveless (meat poured into warming containers) everything swam in oil broth, therefore rather unappetizing in taste. Supplements not with warming beh., therefore only lukewarm.
Service that should be available had to be sought very often, as it served other guests in the outdoor area.
My Plan for this (incl. Prices) much too expensive for the included offer

A hidden gem

Cozy hotel I was recommended by the company I visited.
The service is incredibly friendly and service-oriented. The same feeling you get when you visit old friends.
The room was small but clean and nice. I had space to work, but could imagine more than a socket at the desk.
The breakfast was good and varied.

Wir haben gestern den 70. Geburtstag sowohl meines Vetters als auch seiner Ehefrau dort gefeiert. Hier stimmte alles: Location, Qualität und Geschmack der vielfältigen Speisen sowie sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir haben uns mehr als wohlgefühlt
