We had the 48m2 room, spacious, comfy and everything you need. Bathroom was as big as our garage. Everything clean and beds are comfy.
We used the swimmingpool twice. Highly recommendable.
Breakfast was delicious.
We had absolutely nothing to complain about.
For us, this was a 10/10.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They lock the door between the elevator and the lobby at night and there is no one at reception — I have a 6:00 am flight from Hannover and needed to leave the hotel at 3:30 am — I was banging on the door for 10 minutes but there is no one at reception. I almost missed my taxi, except I found a door open at the back and had to walk all around the hotel in the dark pulling my suitcases — I am 77 years old — this is outrageous and reckless — I am furious and will do everything I can to make sure no one stays there in the future — and I will let the Gedenksta Bergen-Belsen know of my horrendous experience

Very dedicated staff
We would like to praise the «Celler Tor» for the very pleasant stay. The house is tastefully and beautifully decorated, the rooms spacious, modern and sparkling. The food in the restaurant tasted very good. Above all, we liked how friendly and attentive the staff acted. My mother suffered from stomach discomfort and could not eat «normal» food (which is why we unfortunately had to cancel the stay prematurely) – the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating here, both in the restaurant and at the reception and with the room cleaning! You notice that the business is run as a family business, it goes back and forth personally, and you are not simply a “number” as a guest despite the size of the hotel. What struck me very positively is that the restaurant staff keep an eye on every contact, take time for a quick “knock” and seem to enjoy working (and sometimes have been working here for decades, which also speaks for a good working atmosphere). We would love to come back and can only recommend the «Celler Tor»!

Nice, family-run hotel
Great hotel, rooms nice and bright, staff everywhere very friendly and helpful.
The decor is a bit reminiscent of Storm of Love, but fits perfectly with the overall concept. Nice pool in the basement.

House with tradition and history
In retrospect we only became aware that we visited a “pearl”.
After the extremely friendly hostess brought us closer to the exciting history of the house and told us, we saw the house with different eyes. She also had a brandy with her, which is distilled according to a secret house recipe and we tasted every single ingredient.
Our deluxe room was spacious, the bathroom was newly made. Having known the history of the house, we were aware that the family had succeeded in doing something really good here: carefully renewing gradually while still preserving tradition and history. And that is a difficult task, the result is convincing.
The culinary offer is just as convincing, good quality deliciously prepared. And in the evening on the terrace finishing with great drinks. All this is complemented by changing special offers.
We will definitely come back.
