So clean. Great staff. Like a hotel. Not a lot of hostel amenities like kitchen or walking tours. No air conditioning but windows have a great breeze. Perfect lication

Rest in Strasbourg

Excellent experience, room for my family, with private bathroom. Excellent cleanliness and continental breakfast. Kind staff and quiet environment. There are various spaces available: bar, room with games like ping pong and foosball, reading relaxation corner with piano available. There is also a small outdoor space, useful for a chat in the evening.

Cafeteria very good!

We went there to eat at the cafeteria. Honestly a nice surprise: several dish options, vegetables, salad. A very good option when you want to eat quickly, well, and not too expensively. Will do again!

The Wi-Fi consistently didn't work, and for someone who works remotely, this was very important to me. That was really the only reason for a poor review. Everything else was great.

disrespectful staff

Our school group had a very disappointing stay at this place, and I strongly advise others not to book it.
The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. The introduction video about the house rules was shown on a screen placed behind plants, making it almost impossible to see. It was only in French, which many of us could not understand. Because of this, we did not fully understand the quiet hours rule, nor that breaking it could result in a fine. This crucial information was never clearly communicated.
Later, the staff accused a small group of our classmates of being noisy at night. They provided no proof whatsoever – no recordings, no written complaints, nothing – yet they still threatened us with a €300 fine. Their claim that “many guests complained” was never backed up by any evidence, and our teachers never confirmed such accusations. The hotel’s response here on Google is misleading: they continue to insist that everything was explained and that there were complaints, but in reality, we never saw or heard any proof of this.
On top of that, the Wi-Fi barely worked, the food was cheap and poor in quality, and the rooms were not clean or properly maintained. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming, and at no point did the staff show any sense of hospitality.
The only positive aspect is the location, but this does not make up for the unprofessional treatment and unfair practices we experienced. For school trips or group stays, this place is absolutely unsuitable. We cannot recommend it under any circumstances.
