Beautiful, conveniently located, highly recommend!

Beautiful property! Very nice family that runs it and will bend backwards to help. Great breakfast that’s made fresh every morning. Property is very conveniently located in the heart of beautiful old town of Cuenca. Stayed multiple night with kids and truly enjoyed this lovely hotel. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property! Very conveniently located right in the Old City. Very walkable, safe, lots of options for dining & shopping. Stayed with family & loved out time Cuenca is beautiful and local gem is a must! Very nice family owns it and they do everything to assure you have the best time there. Breakfast is great in am. Freshly prepared when you arrive to the breakfast table each day. I can’t say enough good things. This property is a true treasure!

Fabulous staff, great location

We rented the entire hotel for the guests for our son's wedding in Cuenca. Sonia was so accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed to make our stay special and memorable. There is plenty of room in the common area to socialize, WIFI was adequate for those of us that had to work away from home, breakfast was cooked to order with great coffee, eggs, and fruit. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well furnished. Sonia was very responsive to our emails and questions about rooms and booking. We know our costs up front and there were no surprises. Location was convenient to walk to the square, church, markets, restaurants, and just about everywhereI would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Cuenca.

Really nice place in Cuenca

The service es nice the breakfast ok, but we really liked the old colonial building and character. The room was really nice, the loft would be nice for kids or such. The location was great too, a few blocks from plaza Calderon and a few blocks from san sebas.

great colonial hotel

amazing restored old hotel . i love the really high ceilings and the antique furniture. centrally located .. parking for 4$ ... very friendly staff ... just 1 note of caution. if you are arriving late, u MUST call and tell them ... i didnt mind the creaky floor .. i actually liked it .. the city is empty at night so there is no street noise honestly ... however .. because there is a traffic light nearby and u can hear the pedestrian crossing signal that can be annoying for some people .. i was too tired to care ....staff are really friendly and helpful ... would definitely definitely recommend ... great great value for money ...
